Dasi:  yes
Nicole: thanks for advice.  I learned many years ago that it is best to consider a loan a gift.
Crimson: lol thanks for the smile:)

The horse is dead, stop beating it.

The cow is already out of the open barn door.

Stop berating Eric Clapton.

Since the last time this person was off the radar for a while,  all shit broke loose.

Also you need to remember a person is only as good as their word, if promises were made and broken.
You have to ask yourself is this person worth trusting?

I know that in some peoples eyes providers do not wrong and it is always the hobbyist that is wrong.
and you know who you are.

but in this case, I think the provider was wrong.

just my thoughts on the matt

If someone ripps you off it doesn't matter if it was 9 months ago or 9 days ago they suck and all shud be forewarned.

To be honest, I don't see the issue either.  I'm I'm not sure why you are making an issue of a snarky, joking remark I made in the pulled thread.

I do not think I showed a "poor lack of judgement" in making the loan.  I made a judgement that it was better to try to help the person than not, knowing full well that I may not be repaid in a timely fashion. I still have faith that at some point she will make reparations.

I think that the topic of lending money to strangers is a good topic to discuss for those who may consider doing it.

What did she finally do that got her de-listed??? It seemed like she had them doing whatever she wanted on here... i.e. deleting any posts that were critical of her.

A poor lack of judgement (sic) .  Sure that should help him  get past it.

Sweetheart, you're not fooling anyone. Why is it that the most judgemental people  are also  the  most ignorant?

Anyway!!

there is a long list of ppl who feel they have been wronged.
I say if you cant afford to possably lose that loan dont make it in the first place.
And then come on here and complain she ripped you off.
You in my opinion chose a shady deal and if you get burned it was because you took a risk.
enuf already cut your loses and move on.
I wasnt being snarky or funny
I think still drudging it up almost a yr later is rediculous
we get it, shes not so popular for her shady ways
we know when is it enough...?

My thought on this topic is that if you are inclined to do it, take the opportunity to get something for it before handing it over like an overnight session with lots of bells and whistles.  Just my 2 cents having been in that situation before. That and don't give her more than you can afford to give obviously. I think that when a provider does this that at that moment her intention is to do the right thing and pay you back. But the odds of that actually happening are 0.0% unless you manage to track her down and hound her like crazy. If somehow you are able to do that and you get the money back it will often be with an attitude though and not gratitude.

Coward is a strong word from a person whose opinion I care nothing about.

As if you haven't used an alias to snipe. Hypocrite.

So i guess you are saying Do as I do and Not as I say?

Enjoy yourself!

I don't use an alias to snipe. That's laughable.

That makes you a hypocrite and a liar. Zero credibility.
