Ethics question: provider requested no review...

Can I ask for the board's opinions? I saw a provider...while she performed as advertised - no ripoff - service was disappointing...even mediocre. I'd rank her 5 or 6. I don't think she suspects how I feel, but, owing to an earlier trashing incident from an agency owner she once worked for, she requested no review. She's since emailed me, asking privately for feedback on her pluses and minuses. Is she being fair to ask for private feedback but no review? I want to reeview for obvious reasons (and she has no prior reviews). What do people think is fair?

Thanks...
LB

If a provider asked me not to review her, I would obey her wishes.  Just my $0.02

If she requested for you not to post a review then you should respect that. Its the differnce between being a gentleman and treating her like an object.

Honor her request. Maybe she has something going on in her life that accounted for your less than stellar experience. Plus the fact she emailed you to find out what her shortcomings are, tells me she knows she might not be up to her usual self.

But answer her questions regarding plus and minus.  You may find she'll appreciate honesty if she's already asking your advice.

In the end, you may need to tell her she shouldn't use you as a reference.

You could suggest to her that you could show her a few tricks that would raise her rating, at least in your opinion. LOL

I commend the majority of you gentlemen who wrote supporting the provider's wishes (except for you, Sportster..wanna little free "bang for the buck, do we dollface?" lol)

Any of you who follow my posts, know my stance on reviews I HATE THEM and lovingly suggest to my clients that they not review me, however if they must, to please be as honest and objective as possible. ( I have not been reviewed since January 29, 2003 and regardless to popular opinion reviewing does not necessarily increase or decrease a provders' popularity..)

In any event, I agree to honor her request and not review her.  Answer her email and be honest and constructive in your comments.  NOW, I am about to say something that you dear hobbyists will probably be shocked to hear coming from my MOUTH.  Ready????

This is a case where I whole-heartedly support back channeling. (OMG, did Lilly REALLY say that???).  Ah yup I did.  Privately keep tabs on her amongst yourselves (uh, now I did say privately boys no need to humiliate anyone now).  Obviously more than one of you has seen this woman, and if the feedback is reasonable then you can chalk it up to ymmv and move on

HOWEVER..if the feedback is generally bad to poor, then I CERTAINLY would put her on the ripoff list as this is only fair to other providers and hobbyists.

And not to worry, I am not mellowing as time goes on.  I just call it as I see it.

xoxo

Don't post UNLESS, she gives you permission. Also, I agree with Lilly's posting about back channeling, BUT with this to add to it: Make sure that what you are back-channeling is appropiate, honest, and true about what had transpired between both you and your "date". :)

Sincerely,

Mel ;)

prefer to have those who met her before posting reviews on that lady or not.

If the answer is it doesn't matter, then by all means, honor her wishes.

If you do wish someone else has written a review on her before you spent your money on a so so session, then the answer is quite obvious.

If you think she is sincere and trying hard to improve her service, you might want to give her the private feedback and wait a little while before posting your review.  If there are new reviews posted during the waiting period which indicated an improvement on her performance, then you can decide whether you input on this issue is relevant or not.

Good luck.

If the encounter was as described/advertised and as the provider stated, and if the provider asked not to be reviewed, I would honor her request.  If I felt that the provider was dishonest, or deliberately mistated her services, then I would definitely post a review as a warning to other hobbyists.

Regarding the issue of whether or not reviews "mean anything", they do to me.  I have been bitten far too many times on "taking a chance" on an unknown/non-reviewed provider.  I will, however, see a provider on the suggestion/recommendation of a trusted hobbyist, regardless if she has no reviews posted.

my humble .02 bytes worth.

If she informed you before the session that she did not like to be reviewed or allowed you to leave if you objected, you are more obligated to not review her than if she didn't inform you. Personally, I would respect her wishes, but I would not allow her to use cherry picked statements from me in her ads if she doesn't want to subject herself to public scrutiny of her performance. I also have to point out that performance ratings of 5 or 6 are perfectly respectable if there is no inflation of ratings. TER says that a provider must do something special to merit ratings higher than that. The problem is that any reasonable assessment of a provider's performance will look low in comparison to all the numerically inflated reviews that are recorded. Kind of a quandary, isn't it?

You paid.  She did not deliver value for service.  She is either trying to improve (request for private feedback) or she is blowing smoke up your behind because she feels she can get away with it.

This is a better business bureau and it has promoted better business in one little area of the world.  The ladies providing the service are lucky -- most of us know that when we lose customers we will never be told the real reasons why.  They at least get a chance to here what the customer has to say and react.

The lady is in the customer satisfaction business and she did not satisfy you the customer.  Make sure your review is fair and that it says why you were not satisfied.  The people who read the reviews can figure it out..Harry

Next time when you come upon an ad of a lady with reviews, ask yourself whether you:

- Believe it when you the man says, "And now it was time for round three;"

- would WANT to see a woman, whom the reviewer says : "and after an hour of cowgirl/mish, she did an awesome BBBJTC."

- - feel good about a woman who's profile answers: cums in mouth: "YES"  ( it must give you guys a warm fuzzy feeling knowing that, 3,472 OTHER men have done that as well!)

How accurate are reviews..geee......

who are they for, encumbent clients or for the reviewer's ego? GEEZ..

I have a few well endowed, long stamina'd, built like a brick shithouse clients, HOWEVER....let's be real guys..If you didn't embellish or outright lie, I would love being reviewed..

When you stop assuaging your egos then I'll ask for you to review me!

Uh, I personally know the one person you reviewed, Catlin...Maybe you are the problem and not her?  She is a well educated eruditious type and although she is a BBW, she is well acquainted and acclimated to the "TRUE" Executive type.."

I am also not into being reviewed and I think the best way to build clientele is to just show them an awesome time all the time!  Many reviews mean volume and personally I find more satisfaction in seeing many of the same people rather than constantly try to drum up new business.  Like pictures, reviews can be fake and embellished.  In some cases the reviews are scrutinized, groomed and approved by the provider before posted, so the whole idea of an impartial review has gone out the window by the time it hits the profile.  If you don't see a range of experiences, especially from guys who have seen more than just that lady, then discount that review and you also have to question the others.

I'm off the initial subject but if you feel she is really trying to make things right then I would respect her wishes.  If you think she is misrepresenting herself, by all means it is your duty as an active hobbyist to report the hoax so others don't fall into the same trap.  Bait and switch such as false pictures or providing less service then touted hurts us all and should be reported via a fair review.

Kisses, Kate

I totally agree with Kate!

I rather prefer the ladies who travel "under the radar" as it were.  My three current favorites collectively have a grand total of zero TER reviews (and a scant few elsewhere).  That said, some ladies love to get reviews.  And, when seeing someone new, a few possibly biased reviews are more useful than a complete and utter information vacuum.  But one must always take reviews with a grain of salt...

Have fun, MG

to exchange information about ladies in this business through reviews.  It is not for the purpose of ladies manipulating their reviews through suppression or falsifying info.

Staff of TER will grant ladies who chose not to be reviewed the right have all their reviews removed from this site.  If you or other ladies made the decision not to be reviewed, you can submit your request to Staff at [email protected] .

In my response to the luvbald's dilemma about whether to post a review on that lady or not, I simply ask him to relive the moment before he made that appointment and see for himself whether reviews on that lady will make any difference in his final decision.

Just like there are ladies who self-post reviews, there are reviewers who exaggerate or put down ladies in their reviews.  If more hobbyists decided to submit reviews, the truth will eventually come out.

Maybe I am somewhat naive and ignorant about the local hobbying scene.  I simply don't understand why your response are full of seemingly bitter statements such as - "When you stop assuaging your egos then I'll ask for you to review me!"

I can't vouch for other reviewers.  All I can say is that my reviews are very specific and the honest depictions of how I feel in those sessions.

JMHO, the only way to counter falsehoods and exaggerations are more truth, not the suppression of it.

yes, 3,472 is the mean average of all the New England Providers bra sizes, divided by the number of reviews with scores over 5, times the number of men who have lied in reviews, divided by the square root of the harvest moon...

That's what we're here for.  The reviews are to inform the hobbyist, not accomodate the provider.

That being said, it's understood here, and hopefully out there, that everyone has an off day or session.  Describe the session accurately, as well as the actions described in the forum and let your fellow hobbyists come to their own decision.

With enough information, it all comes out in the wash: an occasional so-so session by the provider, shills, liars, etc.

If a provider sees three men per day for three days a week for cums in mouth sessions, it would take 7 years and 5 months to see 3,472 men.  That is a lot of protein!!! LOL.
