Hello Boston Providers,

I frequently hear out-of-town providers complain that they don't do well in Boston. Have you heard this?

I wonder.

I heard this from one of the NY-based bookers. Seems some visiting girls (newer ones?) don't get enough prebookings on a planned visit to Boston and then have to cancel.

Not sure why but it may be seasonal. Winter in Boston is pretty slow without enough tourists to fill out the demand. Plus hotels are much more expensive, on par with NYC ( which is always a good market for business travelers).

Other thoughts?

Makes sense!

I know an absolutely stunning provider who sat in her room for several days with no calls, until she packed-up and left.

I suspect some of it is due to poor marketing on the providers' part, but your comment about NYC vs. Boston makes a lot of sense.

It seems like DC/ Tysons are lucrative locations, too.

About the marketing, some apparently don't want exposure on Tryst or p411.  I understand UTR but if you're fairly new to the Boston market, ads on TER just won't be enough. Lots of hobbyists who don't use TER.

Once you have a solid set of regulars, then go UTR.

Hello! I'm planning my first trip to Boston and was initially looking for hotel recs when I came across this thread. I found this interesting to say the least! I have a girlfriend from NYC who visits quite often, and she adores Boston! What are your thoughts about April? Still too cold and rainy?

Yes, still too cold and rainy. Wait for July.

Did you ask the provider if they ever treated potential high value clients' time with respect?

I can't speak for everyone else but more than half the HDH visitors I queried in the past year were flaky and ended up wasting my time with glacial response time and last minute cancellations. I typically spend >1k per visit. I don't haggle price. Yet my time was not valued.

Not respecting a clients time is a red flag for me.

I can make the money back
I can't take the time they wasted back

It goes both ways.

Maybe you are seeing the wrong providers. Read my reviews or my gal pal Ariella Vy's and you will see how we treat you.
And our assistant always replies usually within an hour.

I _have_ been seeing the wrong provider - story of my life Lol.

Too many now want deposits. Not sure what they can’t understand about married guys not being able to Venmo money. Wives who keep the books see a weird Venmo withdrawal and red flags go up. And the deposit thing in general is getting out of hand.

Stop asking for deposits, as someone already stated, money transfers leave far too much of a trail for many potential clients.  For verifications, stop asking for every lick of personal information.  I don't know your real name, you don't get to know mine either.  At least settle for references from other providers.  Why in the hell is anyone entitled to a picture of a driver's license or a LinkedIn profile?   Get real.

I understand about deposits but i came into Boston to do an overnight double with Ariella Vy and he cancelled 5 hours before we were to meet. I have not started to require deposits yet but i am thinking about it for longer appointments.

I frequent Boston regularly as my IRL & Duo partner is based in the area. I do super well there... Last month I made more in boston than I did at home although I was only there a total of 5 days or so over two weekends!

However, Boston does seem to have strange unexplainable dry patches. Would make sense why it doesn't pan out for some. I also tend to get some last minute bookings. I normally wont go somewhere without prebookings - luckily I have some great regulars who book me almost every time and then I get to meet some new last minute folks!
