The chances of the data in a filled in form being read as the data traverses the internet are non-existant compared to the chances the data will be misused once it reaches its final destination.  

What this means is that if one were to look at the places where you could even intercept traffic, there would be so much traffic going by that your one packet with the form data in it is such a small amount of data, that it does not make it worth even looking.  OTOH, the person who receives the data, unless they keep it secure, it can be easily capture no matter the transmission method.

I recently dealt with a company that used secure forms for everything, but their database was so full of holes, that anybody could get the information out of it with no problems.

Basically, insecure forms are and should be the least of your worries.

This is not meant to single out Gemini at all, I do not know how she keeps the data at all.  This is simply to counter the notion that encrypted forms are somehow much more secure then unencrypted forms.
