I found that quite interesting and wonder why that is.  The article in general is an interesting read.

1) High cost basis, e.g. the cost of hotel rooms
2) A reasonably homogeneous, educated & well salaried population of clients (NYC & DC probably have a much higher income disparity)
3) We are at the edge of the US and a destination point for international travelers.

That being said, I found it interesting that blondes command a premium and that greek is only a $30 (?) surcharge, less than a BBBJ (??????).

Doesn't make it true just because it's in print. I've hobbied in Vegas NYC and Chicago as well as LA and on a comparative basis they are all more than boston and LA iOS the most expensive

LA has a massive K-girl community that provides high quality service with beautiful girls at prices that are significantly lower than what you can find in Boston.  That in itself will bring down the average price dramatically below Boston.

The article does not imply Boston men are paying these rates.  The majority are not paying over $300/hr which is the average.  I suspect the data is barbell in nature, or at least very lumpy.  And there are numerous segments to the overall escort market in all locales, Boston of course included.

The discussion I had was ladies need to charge more in Boston due to 1) hotel cost 2) no shows and cancellations after the lady has incurred the hotel expense.  Cancellations drive up our costs.

The increasing number of gentlemen looking for 30 minute encounters continues to increase.  I think that speaks to the local economy away from the 1%.

They also adjusted the price based on cost of living. I found Tokyo prices interesting because of the cost of the city. I have found London and Montreal get the most from your dollars or Euros
