My heart is broken to read of another provider's experience in a different part of the country. (not public access info)

Please verify-it only takes one screw up to get hurt or worse!

Use each other to verify if necessary.

Unfortunately the girl's of agencies (I will make it plural to protect the guilty) that need to understand this the most are probably not reading this.  Those of you that know them, please warn them not to see gents they have not personally verified.  Nobody should just send men to a room (I will bite my tongue about the fact they rent the room and give up 1/2 the profits on top of it-to people who couldn't care less as long as the money keeps rolling in).  They are the most vulnerable they have little control over who walks in their door.  :(

I am so sad to read of the beating and rape of this nice lady from another area of the country, and as sisters it feels as though it happened right here in Boston.

Remind every other lady you know to verify and take every precaution to protect themselves.

There's more to verifying than not accepting blocked calls. The agencies (and independents) who pretend that this is verifying should be ashamed of themselves!

I am one of the girls, who do NOT accept blocked calls. BUT, that does not stop me from verifying. Just like Kate says, every girl should be verifying, regardless. Please everyone be safe :)

I have never used an agency that didnt send a driver with the provider to inspect the room beforehand or have one sitting outside the door or within shouting distance.  Your saying that this happens???  I have lived and traveled to several parts of the country and I would say that given the overall "nature" of the type of men in this area, they would be less apt to commit such a horrible crime like the one you mentioned.  That being said you can never be too careful.

don't send a driver, a bodyguard or anything else since it up to the lady to get a hotel room  and to stay there and be available for whatever her "shift" is (or longer in many cases). I have yet to see a hotel where the staff isn't going to notice (and probably drop a dime) a man loitering in a hallway and most of the hotels the agency ladies utilize are not those with large (and busy) lobbies. If the girl(s) are doing outcall then they may or may not have a driver with. A  crap load of good a driver is going to do if the lady has had a problem in the room and NO ONE knows the real identity of her client!!!! The verification STILL has to be (not should be) done, and completely done, befoire the lady should agree to see someone. If they don't and something happens - well, I guess that is where personal responsibility kicks in.

Hopefully nothing will ever happen to ANY of the ladies but without verification neither the agency or the girl(s) have a leg to stand on or a ghost's chance in Hell of ever locating the guy. (and what is even woirse is that some agaencies will "promise" their employees that they will provide them with the best attornies money can buy should there ever be a problem. Well, at least in one situation a CT based operation must have had some pretty empty pockets since when one of their ladies was nabbed by LE (about a year agao) while going to an appointment set up BY the agency - refused to help out LE and she is now doing time as well as losing her kids, family, etc..

The three key words in the real estate business are "location - location - location. In this business they should be (and in MOST cases are) "verify, verify, VERIFY"!!

Can never be too careful!!!...and it only takes one bad one!!
