Silent Alarms

There was a previous thread about meeting people from websites like Alt.com or CollarMe.  The majority of legitimate lifestyle players are actually very kind people (even if they like to hurt people for fun) and tend to skew towards the nerdy side (many can also be found a Renaissance Faire), BUT there are sick fucking individuals who pose as one of us, talk a good game, and can really do serious emotional or physical damage to you.  (Yes, that includes women, too, although most of the reported crimes linked to BDSM are committed by men.)

To avoid meeting the next Jeffrey Dahmer or Craigslist Killer, I highly encourage you to work out a "silent alarm" system when playing with someone for the first time.  (Probably not necessary in the context of visiting a professional dungeon where there are several other employees there.)  It might save your life.

Remember, if we break our toys, we don't get to play with them anymore, and we don't want that.

Thanks for posting this. Great information!.....Safety First

I have been the "silent alarm" more then once for a lady. Heck, I always let someone know where I am and who I am with when planing to meet someone new on a one on one basis and that is with out being tied down.

Many providers who are attempting to make more money will state the offer BDSM, but have no clue what this awesome creative fun is all about.  Yes, you can push limits, but never want to harm, or injure in any way.  Read a book start with BDSM 101!
