i am looking for new paddles.

i have been waiting forever (it seems) for The London Tanners to get there site working

these look so interesting




But the shopping cart on the site doesn't work :-(  i wrote them a note to customer service.

In the mean time,  i am wondering what paddles other folks like!

If we're talking about the same "London Tanner" spent time in the Tampa and Ft Meyers scene, it's been years since I've spoken to Ian. However, I do know how to get a hold of him and find out the story on his cart software.

From my Dom/Top prospective on the subject of paddles or what I do:

* Soft leather or flexible straps for newbie bottoms.

* Wood for a more traditional feel and artistic marking after all one has to love the classics.

* Metal for the manipulation of hot / cold sensations and for those heavy bottoms who have a habit of saying.. " is that all you got " ?

i like leather and wood, i'm not so keen on metal.  i'd take a caning preference before metal paddles or acrylic paddles.  Perhaps it's a "tree hugging", raised in San Francisco during the 60 - 70's, thingy raising it's "all natural" head.  lol.

No, i did not attend UC Berkeley.  i went off to a liberal arts college, University of Redlands, then back to Oakland for my Masters from Mills College.  i seem not to fit well into any politic category, as it depends on the subject as to what party my views line up with.

I LOVE London Tanners...cannot wait to get one or two of their lovely straps, as well as the slipper paddle, since I am having a difficult time finding an actual slipper that I like :)

In the meantime, I have a large collection of wood paddles, from very light and very fast stingers to very heavy duty paddles designed to make an impression ;) I prefer my leather in strap form rather than paddle form, and I prefer my acrylic in cane form ;)
