I have had the great good fortune to have been serviced by many of the providers mentioned above - more than you might think - in group competitive situations (yes, plural...) where actual blindfold comparisons were made.   Many thanks to GT for arranging those events....

And, my conclusion (and those of the other gentlemen) is that you can't compare them - they are really different and context matters more than you might think.  And they really are all good...

Honestly, this is a skill that professionals do well and I haven't had any thing less than good.  The last time I had head that was indifferent (as opposed to good) involved an amateur thirty years ago... possibly I have just been lucky.

I am not nearly the connoisseur that others seem to be.  For Me, the last one is always the one I like the best....  In other words - it's all good.

An honest and astute appraisal...from my side it certainly seems that you are right on the money and though clearly from time to time some do appear to be monumental or even apocalyyptical rivaling an eruption of Vesuvius, I have always questioned whether that was me, or him or the moment but you know what You are right,  it was and is all good or so it seems at the moment anyway........J'adore avaler tout, suzee
