You are very welcome.
Yes, building a reputation is always that way, isn't it? It's something you just can't rush.I wish you the best of luck - it seems you have the right attitude to succeed.
I'm on the boards every day, usually more than once. I admit, I have an addiction. I don't want to take the chance on missing out on the next amazing woman that I could pay a visit to. I search thru the ad board a lot, and I confess to one thing. When I see an ad with long prose, usually, I skip past all of that to get to the most important part; the pics! Most of the time, the exact same copy can be found on their site anyways.
Men are visual creatures, it's just human nature. If I like her pics, then I research further. If not, I move on. Considering how long it takes me to write a review, I often wonder how much time a provider might have spent writing all that copy, just to potentially have the majority of readers skip right over it. Some providers really put a lot of effort into it. They write erotic poetry, dirty stories, etc.
Then there's the ads with no pics. If I'm on my phone perusing the ads, I typically don't bother to even click on the link to their site, or the link to their reviews. I just want to see a pic, make a decision, and move on. Providers could wind up losing a lot of potential clients just b/c there was no pic in the ad.
So, I was just curious about thoughts on this from the community. What makes the best ad? How important are pics in the ad? Do you always click on the link to their site/reviews to see pics, or do you just not bother?
1) Just a pic or two and that's it, maybe with a line or two of description? Save yourself the trouble girls?
2) Or, for the man who actually reads the articles; Long ad copy, prose, erotic poetry, etc, enticing you to visit their site to see the goods?

And I hope to attract clients that read and appreciate it. My ads can range from a short paragraph to several, but I rarely if ever post the same ad twice. Sometimes they revolve around a theme, sometimes they focus on a new policy I have or information I want to disclose. But I usually spend anywhere from 30 minutes to 3 hours crafting ads just for TER each week or so. I've started writing on my blog more and cross posting blog entries if I feel they would make a good ad. I try not to repeat what's on my site, but either to show an aspect myself that isn't apparent there, or further develop one that is. However I do always post a picture. I'm actually getting a new photo set done soon I think will do a much better job of visually conveying my persona and narrative than my current pictures do. I realize pics are very important, but feel me text sets me apart and attracts the sapiosexual sort of men I like to see. I really like when gentlemen compliment my text, it's the single most time consuming aspect of being Ava and I appericate acknowledgment of a job well done. That said, I won't turn my nose up at a compliment about my legs
Great thread btw, I imagine both guys and ladies have different preferences. I know women who hate writing and basically post the same ad every week. Seems like they do just fine.
Just like in dating, if there is not that initial physical/visual attraction, then most men will never take the time to get to know the woman on a deeper level. This is admittedly shallow, but I don't think it is false.
That said, I too scroll down to see the pic first. And I don't need to be blown away by the pic(although that's great), but I need to have some initial attraction. If so, I will scroll back up and read the writing and hope to be attracted to the provider's wit. For me, personally, humor goes a lot farther than me than a deep writing or poem. But that's just me.
But yes, it all starts with the picture.
Escorts ads are a bit like books and a bit like movies.
Whether I'm at Books-A-Million or searching through Amazon, the first thing I notice is the cover. See something I like? I'll pick the book up and read the back cover to see how well-reviewed by credible critics it is. Then I read the inside flaps of the dust jacket to get a bit more info about the author and a taste of what the book is all about. After all that, if the price is right, I'll buy it.
With escorts, like Ned said - Pic is the hook, then I read the ad. Like what I read? Then I'll check out her reviews, and then her website, before drawing a conclusion to schedule an appointment. The ad should get me to her website so I can read her blog, the way she thinks of herself. A good blog is the bigger tipping point for me scheduling than a good ad.
Why? Because I hate it you realize that the teaser trailer and movie trailers for a film gave away everything for free but I you had already bought tickets and popcorn... then sat there for and hour and a half waiting for something new and exciting to happen.
my 2 cents, ga_kosh
Having been married to a provider I know she spent hours working on the "perfect" ad, and I may not miss her, but I can appreciate the effort that is put into some ads.
For me, if it's someone I have seen, or someone whose ads I have seen before, I generally skip them unless they say "New Pics", because like the OP says..men are visual creatures. I have scheduled with a provider after having not been that amused previously, just from seeing a "new" picture.
If there is a link to a website and NO pic attached, I will look at the profile and see if she has P411, as I don't care for click bait and popups.
Good thread topic.
I agree that there must me a good pic. I don't understand a lady putting an ad up and not including a pic, but it happens. As a guy I know you have to catch my eye right away. If there is no pic, chances are slim I'll click the link to your website (hopefully there is one). Yes, I am that lazy. And my attention span is so short that I don't even have the time to... SQUIRREL!!!
Ladies, remember that ads are the hobby equivalent to billboards for us gents as we are barreling down the highway of life. If it doesn't visually grab us by the cojones and make us say "Great Hadrian's Wall - That is one magnificent booty!!!!" (Oh, feel free to substitute your female body part of choice), then it isn't worth the time to post it.
What kind of pic is preferable is a whole other topic of discussion and is highly subjective. I personally appreciate a nice, recent selfie that changes weekly (or often). Pro shots are nice too as long as they are kept up to date.
After that I do enjoy a paragraph or two exemplifying the lady's personality. Hopefully flirty, seductive, intelligent, and clearly showing she has a good sense of humor.
Then donation, how to contact her, and schedule - all are good to include.
That's what I like anyway.

I want to see those legs ( and maybe an ass shot ). I know it matters to some , but wether are not the boobs are natural or not means nothing to me.
(I appreciate tips like that so I can include it in my next shoot)
I find that my pics are definitely getting a great buzz and its now even more apparent why- after reading everyone's thoughts. Consequently, I make a passage that encompasses the mindset of the hobbyist if he ever gets that far! lol I try to take photos that appeal to a variety of senses from the everyday executive wanting to explore his yearning for his female counterpart in the office to the gentleman from out of town relaxing in his suite wanting a discreet courtesan all the way to the guy that is looking for a cutie Co-Ed. I find men are multifaceted in their visual appreciation. Its up to us girls to give the crowd what they want.
"ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED!!??" LOL
lest the lady come off as a jabberwocky.
He wiffled and burbled more so than spoke, did he not?
Lewis Carroll however, has a bit of a reputation for words. I think it's ever so slightly smaller than that Bill Shakespeare guy's

Agreed.
Fair ladies - don't make me pull out my vorpal sword.
Well, that could be a good thing I suppose.
Oh frabjous day. Callooh, callay!
I'm sure most guys scroll down first to check out the photo. If the pics grab our attention, we'll go back and read the text of the ad, IMHO.
is porn. How many of us sit thru the build up, the plot, the dialogue, and how many just skip thru immediately to 2 people fucking each other? Why bother have the "actors" learn the "script", when nobody truly gives a shit 99% of the time? Every now and again, I'll want to know how they got to that situation, but usually, I just hit FF.

My former life was in professional services involving lots of proposal writing. I insisted that my folks absolutely minimize the use of boilerplate - standard paragraphs that are sufficiently generalized to cover a broad array of situations. As AVA said, it's clear when a text is specifically written versus the repetitive text found in many ads and websites.
Also intriguing are the ads using literary quotations to establish a theme. Skylar Raine is a champ at this and the ad board will be diminished by her retirement. Several others do this as well, but she is the one who jumps immediately to mind.
Back to my folks, I urged them each to develop an elevator speech - you get on the elevator with someone and they ask you "who do you work with and what do you do?" You have a limited number of floors and no reruns. What do you say that isn't blah, blah, blah? I believe it is the same for providers - you are all unique (and wonderful) creatures providing what is, at least at the most general level, a homogenous service. What is the characteristic(s) you can describe that differentiate you the best? That's what you need to say. Again, I think Ava and Skylar are both excellent examples of succeeding at that, among others.
And yes, I also look at the pic first
If there's no photo, I use the back button. There's too many ads to be clicking through to the reviews and then to the websites just to see what the provider looks like. If the provider has included a photo, it shows that she cares enough to take the few extra minutes to upload one.
Important info: where (touring city, fixed home city), price, any special policies.
Allusions to or outright statements regarding things the provider is known for are helpful. If the ad is saying implicitly or explicitly that she excels at BJ's, she has my attention. ;
I've spent a vast amount of hours working styling my website as well as trying to understand what makes good copy for provider ads. I am a still a fresh face to the hobby, & approaching the last city of coming out this tour. Though I have had a blast traveling the US & meeting Awesome individuals, I have not had the chance to entertain many "hobbyist" I have noticed having reviews are important for many in selecting your dates, but does not having them make or break whether you contact the sexy provider of your choice? The few gentlemen who raved about the great time they had and said that they would write a review, But i have noticed that alas, actions speak louder than words.
So, Say a girl has an enticing title and you click on her Ad. you scroll down to a picture so nice it makes your jaw drop (: you scroll back up and briefly scan her Ad before clicking on her webpage. you can tell that she is a fresh face and presumably low volume, but the visuals she has available has definitely piqued your interest. After clicking back on the TER tab, you notice that she has little to no published reviews.
So I have 2 questions:
~Are reviews & the opinions of someone else who has had their taste of her and choose to tell the world make her more desirable.. or do experienced gentleman in the hobby have different reasons for being selective against newbies?
&
~Is there any advice on additional ways for an Indy stand out beyond Pictures & a catchy title, or do guys prefer to go to the agency's for their fresh faces?
Thanks in advance!!
~ Z
Thanks in advance!!
Hi Miss Z,
My answers to your thoughtful questions. I'm sure other folks will offer their opinions.
Reviews
Yes, good reviews are important. Absolutely. They show the hobby community that you are established and what a rendezvous with you might be like. It does two things
1) it gives gents a confidence that you are "real" known entity (not a scam, leo, crazy, etc)
2) it gives gents the ability to "do their homework" in reading your reviews to generally see if you are a lady they would appreciate spending time with. In other words your menu, attitude, personality, etc. is in line with the experience they are looking for.
Will gents see you if you have few, or no reviews? It depends... Every gent has a comfort level in how many reviews (if any) they require before they pull the trigger and schedule a date. As you'd expect there are some gents that are more risk averse than others and others that willingly TOFTT (take one for the team).
As far as what other things you can do...
My advice is to be patient, kind, and helpful, keep posting your weekly ads and participating in board discussions and eventually the clients (and reviews) will come. When you get a "critical mass" of reviews and regulars things will be much easier. Take comfort that every girl has to suffer through the new provider "catch-22": they need reviews for clients to see them, but clients won't (generally) see them without reviews.
Welcome to hobbyland.

I am having slight Deja Vu of being 18 with a fresh credit score and trying to buy my first car (: Building credit was a little rocky at first too but once the first few lenders said yes, the rest took up interest sporting Christmas morning smiles, lol

My darling it is about marketing. Your a sweet cookie. You price a little under the market price will move the cookies fast. Too high of a price and not as many will buy. A fancy wrapped cookie will make a better price. ( sexy outfit) Better ingredients will command a better price . You are made of ingredients(your body pretty boobs etc.). If the price is set a little too high no one will try. May have a half price sale and we all will cum . Lol. We will all like and will pay a high price. Don't know who you are. That's it in a nut shell. Lol. Hope I meet you one day.
Please include a great pic or pics (recent please), contact information, and a concise message in a positive format, perhaps with a bit of subtle humor. As Spinnaker deftly pointed out - think of the quintessential elevator speech. Extra points given for a smiles and\or sexy devilish looks.
Please do not make me click on a link to have to see your picture....it turns me off. Also, with all due respect, I typically am not interested in your bachelor's\advanced degrees unless you have an magna cum laude in sexy seduction and how to please a man
Thanks, TER only allows 1 image with each Ad but im gonna take all this into consideration when writing my next Copy

Hi Miss Z,
Yes, but you can have multiple posts in the same weekly ad with a different picture in each. That gives us gents multiple exposures. LOL
Take a look at the ad board - ladies do it all the time. And we gents appreciate it.

Nice! Good to know...i will be sure to start doing this in the future (: though tonight is my last night in Atlanta, i will be sure to start doing this when i make my ad posts for Vegas
Seriously, the blurrier the photo the less likely I'm prone to see — with photoshop you can bait and switch with the same provider!
