I like to keep it light. A tummy full of heavy foods and vigorous physical activity isn't a good combo for me. A fruit plate is nice (pineapple, strawberries, grapes, apples, etc.). It's refreshing and gives you quick energy. Also maybe some crackers and cheese if we are sharing some wine. Some warm hors d'ouevres are nice if a lady feels like putting some more effort into it and we are spending at least a couple of hours together.
During: sparkling white wine (from CA/OR/WA or NZ, but not Champagne) off various parts of her body. After: Tuna sashimi, rare steak.. ya know, high protein foods for the 'post-workout'.
I just love bed picnics and with most of my encounters being for multiple hours, before hand I will normally hit Whole Foods on the hunt for exotic fruits, soft cheeses for speading on crackers, chilled lobster and one of their overly decadent chocolate desserts...i think it truly adds to the intimacy of the encounter. Lol, and if there just isnt time to hit whole foods, we just raid the mini bar
