I will be flying into Atlanta from Orange county California in the beginning of May, to visit a gentleman but during his work hours I get to play. Is Buckhead a popular spot for the hobby??? Any info would be great :)

Hotel rooms in the Buckhead area are expensive compared to other parts of the city. They seem to run about $75 to $100 more for comparable rooms.

I'm not worried about the pricing of the room since he's funding the room stay. I just need to know if buckhead a good area to see clients ☺

If a client is on a time crunch it could cause time problems. So really depends where they're traveling from. I live north of Marietta and rarely go to Buckhead, Midtown and Perimeter are a much easier commute for me because travel to either is only bad during AM hours. Buckhead I would have AM and PM traffic to to deal with, so I would only opt for a 8pm or later in BH.

So you're going to see clients in HIS room? Or is he getting you a second room? Buckhead is the place regardless.

...like most have the issue of keyed elevators. I guess I lucked out getting a hotel in Buckhead where that was not an issue.  Dunwoody/Perimeter Mall area or Midtown ATL are fine too...i'm actually looking into those parts for my upcoming visit.

All the best to you.

If I may, I would suggest a hotel in the Perimeter Mall area.  It would be near I-285 and convenient for most areas of the clients you would want.  Cobb/Marietta is OK, but you lose out on client who would have to travel too far in the traffic to get to you.  It is only my opinion, but I would avoid Gwinnett county altogether.  One there are a lot of bubbas there, and the police are hard on this.  The Jimmy Carter has a few places where ladies work, but they are most for when one is n the mood for a skank.

Perimeter is clean, upscale and closer to your clients.

Good luck.  Send me a PM when you land please.

Thank you very much for that advice. May have to look into that area. We like fine dining so that's why we stayed in Buckhead last time and I found some lovely spots to dine. But I will take the Perimeter area into consideration :)

Hello Alexis,
Buckhead area is very nice and I'm staying here myself. It's slightly more expensive, but you have a lot of dining options around in walking distance, Lenox square mall there you can walk or do makeup or hair, it's convenient.
