As much as people hate to be corrected, what's so damn hard about reading what you've written before hitting the "post message" button or submitting a review?
If you make a mess of punctuation, spelling, etc., what you've written can't be understood.  And then what's the point

Or those that use there instead of their, loose instead of lose, cloths instead of clothes, etc.

This is not school. If anyone chooses not to use capitalization or whatever its fine. Who cares its just a discussion board.

the reviews are so much easier to read if the correct spelling, punctuation and capitalization are used.

hillbillies down here do not pronounce their G's at the end of their words. I really hate hearing people  say words like nuttin, somethin, meeting. Geez that hurts my ears.  Just sayin.

...capitalization, punctuation, paragraphs, grammer, and spelling make it much easier to do so. Try reading a review without paragraphs. Then add no capitalization. You just can't read it. Even worse is "text" language. If you only have 140 characters abbreviations are useful. Here on TER that isn't an issue.

If you don't care enough to make what you wrote intelligible why should we care enough to read it

I try to write coherently, and in terms that I think are easily understood.

My spell check corrects me when I'm typing on my computer but when I'm on my tablet or my phone, I make some grammatical errors. Sometimes I'll write ladys instead of ladies and when I read it afterwards, I feel so silly and I have to go back and edit it if I can.

I use the misspelling quotient (# of misspelled words divided by the total # of words via a guesstimation (my word))in any given review to help determine with whom I'm dealing (in order of increasing intelligence, wisdom, and (most importantly) my respect):

 dumb-a$$, a$$-hole, smart-a$$, lucky-a$$, or darklove (whom I haven't heard mention of in ages).

Misspelled words, poor (or absence of) punctuation, guys that have 5-38 CIM and BBCIV orgasms in a session... it all figures into my opinion of you a$$es.

Take this opinion for what you wish,

I once saw Conan knock a camel out cold with his bare fist for just thinking about using "your" instead of "you're".  You definitely don't want to mess with that guy!

I just learned something discretely unique (wait, that could be redundant).  I never realized until I read your post that both words existed, with separate meanings.  I've been using the wrong word in incorrect context for years, and I discreetly pride myself in using correct grammar, spelling and punctuation.

There, I used both....hopefully correctly.  Thanks for teaching this dog a new trick.

Believe me, I fuck up all the time!   Lol! As long as someone can fuck good  (from a lady's perspective) I don't bother with the grammatical errors.  I do get frustrated when it's just a very looonnnnggggggg run on sentence though.
