10 years ago, on Valentine’s Day, I posted my first ad on Backpage.  

I had been doing the sugar baby thing for about 6 months on the sugar baby sites. My sugar daddy at the time had taken me to lunch and got us a hotel that day. It was going to be the last time he could see me, due to his wife getting suspicious. I completely understood, but I was devastated. That 600 per month allowance was over a quarter of my 2000/month income from my security guard job. I didn’t want to have to go back being a janitor part time or selling my plasma.  

He suggested I become an escort and told me of a few sites for advertising. After we said our last goodbye, I posted on Backpage right then and there.  

My phone BLEW UP. I didn’t know about screening, so I just chose the nicest sounding guy, and met him at my hotel bar, and invited him up after a drink. What a nice guy he was. Because he was so respectful, I decided I would keep on going.  

Every Friday after my shift as a security guard, I’d get a hotel down the street from my job, and see clients that found me on Backpage.  

After a month or two, an avid reviewer from TER decided to TOFTT and took a chance on me. He wrote my first review, and again, my phone BLEW UP.  

A week later, I met punter4u (may he rest in peace) who taught me how to screen with references. Because of him, I have been able to keep myself safe all these years.  

After exchanging many references with Ginger Taylor, we met in person, and she invited me to be her doubles partner. She’s been my best friend ever since! She introduced me to Caylee Cahill and all of our mutual girlfriends in this business.  

After a year of “herding cats” and seeing clients only on Friday afternoons/evenings, I decided to quit my security guard job. Best decision I ever made! I have so much more time for my family and hobbies. Because of y’all, I’m so much happier as a person.
