Hey there Atlanta, I'm starting to plan a trip your way mid-november and was looking for suggestions on good upscale hotel options and some not-to-be-missed dinning options (I absolutely love discovering new restaurants, upscale and little hole-in-the-walls!) Thankyou in advance      Celina Rai, xo

n restaurants depends on what you like ... From classics like Nikolai's roof, Pittypat's porch, Bones, Chops and Baccahanalia, to up and cumming like 2 urban lick, 4th and swift, Tomo, STK, Kevin rathburns ... oh I could go on and on.

Hotels .. my fav would be St Regis.  Mgs me if you wants details or specifics.

on Peachtree St., NE. It's right up the street from the Sheraton, and not very far from the Hilton.

St. Regis, Intercontinental and W in Buckhead. Bones for steaks, Umi and Tomo for sushi.

I love Eclipse De Luna a tapas restaurant. Tilted Kilt has the best wings (and Newcastle on tap if you like beer). Joey D's has delicious food and a nice wine list.

If you pick 4 star Perimeter on Hotwire, you'll either get Crown Plaza or Westin every time. Both are lovely since remodeling has finished. The Westin has this awesome crab cake burger to die for.

Le Meridien is on my list, but the nightly rate is more than my hourly rate! I hope to outcall there sometime to check it out and see if it's really that much better than the other two 4-stars.

I really can't help with hotels-I think the ladies would be better for that-food wise here are a few.

Downtown - I second Rathburns- Baccahanalia and 6 feet under - both locations have great roof bars.

Buckhead- Chops the lobster bar- Kyma- Hal's ( then go to Johnny's Hideaway for night cap- had fun the other night with some ladies)

Perimeter- Goldfish- Mimi's neat little french restaurant.

But i agree with Terrilynn- Imperial Fez is really fun
