A Thai I picked up in a bar in Bangkok said she wouldn't see Indian men because they smelled bad. I think she was referring to the effect of diet and not BO. I think another Thai rejected me once because she thought I was Indian. That could also apply to Asian men in general, whose diets affect their body odors. On a recent flight, I had a Japanese seat-mate who was chewing some kind of dried fish that smelled awful. I don't know if it affected his body odor, but it had to give him bad breath!

One of the Thai ladies I saw has that up on her website.  For Indian men (from India) she has had bad experiences with men either wasting her time, through numerous texts and calls, or trying to haggle with her and negotiate a lower price.  She also said that they smelled bad (her words not mine).

As for the Asian men, she didn't want to see any just from her personal preference.  I think a few of the Thai ladies don't see Thai men.  I was told why one time but I can't remember what it was.  She mainly wanted to see Western and Arab men.  She was fine with men from America and Europe of Indian and Asian backround though.

no discrimination laws in Asia.  Not uncommon to see a sign at bar entrance that says "No Indians".  They don't like Indians because they tend to be cheap, don't know about the smell.  Five will go in and one will buy a drink and nurse it, same about local Asians, they get more money out of westerners.  On the other side of the coin, there are bars that canter to Koreans and you'll have a hard time getting in and if you do, most likely ignored.  There's always exceptions, especially if you speak some Thai.
