I was in Bangkok in January, but only ventured to Soi Cowboy.  I had blast especially at Suzy Wong's.  Check out the sex shows there - very entertaining.   I barfined a really pretty light skinned Thai girl.  She was amazing fuck machine.  I did not get any sleep.......  

I have been to Pattaya twice.  There are so many bars all over the city.  I would recommend getting a hotel closest to the walking street that way you don't need to take a tuk tuk.   The walking street is great for first timers.  Lots of bars and lots a great looking girls to choose from.   I am not sure if you plan to do anything else besides eat, drink and fuck but there are other things to do too.

In BKK check out Nana Plaza, Soi 4,  right off of Sukhumvit.

In Pattaya also try Soi 6, more of a daytime hangout, more relaxed and less expensive.  Also lots of hotels along Soi 6, not as fancy as Beach Road, but clean and resonable rates.  A plus with staying on Soi 6 is that since most bars are daytime, everything closes up around 11pm.  So it's quieter. Not quiet, but quieter.  There are also organized bar crawls, great way to get to know the place.

In BKK, I highly recommend the Adelphi Suites on Soi 8 along the Sukhumvit road.  I've stayed there 5 or 6 times and the place is a nice 3.5-4 star place and allows ladies to come up to your room.  Near there is the Eden Club with a great doubles experience at Sukhumvit Soi 7/1, Between Soi 7 and Soi 9.  It was very nice!!  Soi Cowboy should not be missed too.

In Pattaya, there are so many ladies in the bars and in the clubs that it's crazy.  Eat your Wheaties and enjoy the hedonism there.  I stayed in the Flipper House on Soi 6 which is nice, but not fancy.  It's totally hobby friendly (make sure to book all rooms in Thailand for 2 people, btw) and they are a block off the beach.  Tons of bars nearby too. Walking street is crazy and is a red-light must see.

There are some great escorts in Thailand too.  It's always nice to find a lady to stay with you for a day or two to go around and show you the sites.  Tons of amazing looking girls in both cities.  BKK is wild and fun and Pattaya is hobbying in overdrive.
