I am going to BKK in Oct. Tell me about this Pattya Beach. It will be my first Thailand adventure so I was planning on spending some time in BKK and then checking out a few of the other places that are good.

Pattaya is a wild place, about an hour south of BKK, famous for its "walking street." When I went to Thailand in January, I first headed down to Pattaya, spent a few days there, then went up to BKK.
