Thank you so very much to all of you all who have served our Country.
Because of you we have our Freedom.
Because of you we have our Liberty.
It gets harder every year now to keep out Liberty and Freedom, but we thank you all for everything you endured on behalf of all Americans.
Now , it's up to the rest of us to try our very best to keep them for our Children and Grand Children.
We don't take the time to Thank  our Veterans often enough for all they have done.

I like to joke around with you boys a bit here and there but this is no joking matter.

I appreciate everyone here who has served and those that have lost friends or family to war.

The other poster is correct as well. We did a huge disservice to the men coming back from Viet Nam. They got thrown into a hell hole then got ran over again when they came home. You deserved better and America let you down then.

It seems like attitudes, thank God, have changed drastically since then and the military is looked up to and revered. Let's keep that going.

So thank you one and all for your fine, brave service. Many people do "get it." And the ones that don't will some day, I hope.

Everything we do, from attending sporting events, concerts, to all our freedoms,  like freedom of speech and religion, to our bill of rights and our constitution, are all brought to us courtesy of the U.S. soldier.

Let's remember him or her this weekend.

Happy Memorial Day to all here and across our country!

Along with remembering those who served for us and are no longer here... please don't forget to do something nice for the service men and women we see everyday.  Pay for their gas, meal, cup of coffee.  Support our troops.  I always give veterans a discount.

our Flag.  Don't run it up your flag pole and leave it there day/night, year round, until it falls off.  Don't use it as a sweat band or wipe the dip-stick checking your oil.  Men and women died for that flag; have some respect.  If you don't know how to display the flag then just leave it in the box.

I can't express my appreciate enough to all those who have served in and are still serving in the military.  I know that Memorial Day is set aside to remember those who have fallen but I want to say a special thank you to those who are still with us.  The older I get I find myself appreciating Memorial Day and Verteran's Day more and more
