PDE5 inhibitors, like Sildenafil (Viagra), can be combined with anti-depressants assuming no health-related contraindications. As far as anti-depressants are concerned, Bupropion (Wellbutrin) is reported to cause fewer sexual side effects. Talk to your clinician. Good luck.

Are your antidepressants working to make you feel everything is beautiful except your dead wood??? If not...why not stop taking them??? Do you find yourself feeling happier and more "normal" taking pills or off pills with a raging hard on??? Physicians prescribe drugs because that's all they've got to offer and that includes psychiatrists. The only thing they won't prescribe are benzo's and narcotics even though they actually work...because of greedy lawyers...but that's another conversation. Also recently a British study that showed that antidepressants acting on serotonin had no effect seems to be suppressed by big pharma...another conversation.

In the past 10 years I've lost my Dad, my Brother, my Sister, My Mom, my Dog, and most importantly and recently my 27 year old Daughter. Best friends all and over this time I've tried every antidepressant including the "tried and true" and "latest and greatest " $300 a month bullshit. For me they all did nothing except make my old dick older.

So I quit taking the crap realizing that I'm all alone in this life and pills won't change that. Realized only I can improve my mindset if I choose to. I'm happier without those drugs and knowing that I'm fucked in the head because I've lost everything that really means anything. I think a really good dtbbjnqns after a long edging might help me more than all the drugs I tried.

So I'm hoping that you've reflected on possible causes of feeling depressed such as losses, shitty relationships, shitty job, shitty political regime etc. If you like your antidepressants than....nevermind
