It will be 1 year post surgery in a week.  I had stage 3 cancer.  I lost some nerves on one side inside where the prostate was (not all nerves were spared on that side).

without going into my details, I'm wondering how long it took people to "know" what the long term outcome of their functionality would be.

Unfortunately post surgical ED is a very common and, even when nerves are spared, ED can exist for months to a year or more. There are several ED treatment options available that you can discuss with your urologist.  Hopefully your PSA remains undetectable and you continue to be cancer-free. Good luck.

Hi There,
I see to mostly older gentlemen.  Many have e.d. issues for various reasons.  I know you want a good erection and conclusion but, finding the right provider and being totally honest can be great fun for both of you!  Learn new tricks, new toys, new positions... and the ability to laugh together without worries or judgement...
From someone who's seen it all... testosterone, viagra, injections, pumps...
Peace Love and Creativity~  K
