I am a new provider on this site and i am constantly reading everything on this site so i can to familiarize myself it.  However i keep coming back to this message board.  The 60 and over group is the most interesting and the discussions are the most entertaining and offer so much information.  Thanks a bunch guys!

we get better with age and we make your eyes water.  "Landing strip" for me means that I remembered to shave my ears.

or in more modern terms (paraphrasing P!nK) "I wanna start a fight"...

Seriously - this is one board where anyone can ask a question with no fear of ridicule....

Agree with all of you. No drama. Helpful answers. Senses of humor. Being in the fourth quarter of life it's great to have a place like this to share questions, concerns, and remembrances of the first three quarters.  Now let's hope there's a two minute warning.

Thanks to all the gents and ladies who participate here.

I guess there's something to be said for experience.

Does this mean your ad will read, 'Only gentlemen 60 and over'?

in the General Board I found my home here.  Those GB folks seem to prefer starting fights and being mean to each other over any meaningful discussion of matters of mutual concern.  The over 60 board rocks!

true enough. If I post on GD board how I really feel about things and people, usually in a positive and praising way, I get ripped there.  I am in this for positive feelings and experiences.  And yes, I do have feelings and like that! It's nice to be able to share how you feel about someone or positive experiences you have had and be supported, not mocked.

I've taken shit on the GD Board and doled it out.  And I find it much more entertaining than this board, which seems lifeless to me.
And I do get the whole "to each his own" thing.  If you guys like it, more power to you and I'm not trying to win any converts to the GD Board, which does require a strong stomach, like the P&R Board (where I rarely venture because I find it predictable and boring).
Anyway, thank god for mrfisher because if he wasn't here this place would be about as lively as an Assisted Living Facility.  I may be old but I'm not ready for God's Waiting Room.
For a while.

I don't think anyone will miss you here if it is too tame for you.

You remind me of a sign I saw once in a diner:

Don't criticize the coffee:  You will be old and weak yourself someday.

Now, go get laid.

You really know how to hurt a guy!
PS: Pardon me for not singing "Kumbayah" with y'all. Question? Were you born without a sense of humor or did you have it surgically removed?

Even so, seeing guys slap each other on the back here about how great this board is when so few of them actually post on it just frosted my cojones.
I guess I'm just a prick.
Bless you. :)

...so even if I don't reply to some threads I definitely check this board out pretty often. And it's one of my favorite parts of the boards to peep in on. :)

And we appreciate your peeping in, as we do with anyone who is not an unabashed troll.
