I just read the CDC timing guidelines on the vaccine:

Phase 1a, healthcare personnel and residents of long-term care facilities
Phase 1b, frontline essential workers such as fire fighters, police officers, etc. and PEOPLE 75 YEARS AND OLDER
Phase 1c, PEOPLE 65—74 YEARS OLD; 6—64 years with underlying conditions; and other essential workers

One of the few times when the old guys will be rewarded by being able to safely resume ahead of the pack!

I would rather be last in line, but at VERY low risk from the virus itself than be "towards" the front of the line, (but not at the very front) but be someone at very high risk of getting seriously sick or even dying from the disease.

Personally, I don't mind at all "waiting my turn" Most likely I will end up getting it, I am pretty much resigned to the fact that if I don't get vaccinated that will be the end to me traveling internationally among a whole host of other doors that will be closed to me in the post-pandemic world, but I am not in any kind of all fired hurry to do so. There are probably at least a billion or two people who need the vaccination a lot more than I do.

Can't argue with you on that, GaG.  Thanks for the comment.

LLAP,

14 million doses had been sent out. Only 2.8 million given.

It depends on where you live. Some states are doing a better job than others.

What a mess.

I will be calling some providers immediately...

from Covid, it doesn't make your dick hard, so there is no reason to call them "immediately."  Lol

The vaccine roll-out already looks like a cluster-fuck, and it's going to take a while to get it ramped up to where us "1-c's" will get ours.

governor has just announced that state prison inmates will go ahead of old people 75 and older.  What a shit-head.
