I can have a dry orgasm. I tell my companion about it before hand, letting her know I still get full pleasure from the release. I do this so she isn't surprised by it, not out of embarrassment.

This doesn't happen to me but it's not unusual. Occasionally I am not able to orgasm. I simply explain to the lady it isn't anything she is or isn't doing, it just happens and she shouldn't be concerned. Do what another poster on this thread said explain to the provider and then enjoy.

Of course I was on a three day drunk and it was probably on my 15th girl of the weekend, lol

 
Fast forward twenty years and sometimes it happens on even my second ejaculation of the day and even my first  on days I drink too much.

 
Except for the obvious advice to stay as hydrated as possible, My only other advice would be not to worry about this as long as you still enjoy yourself. You might let your sexual partners know that this "normal" for you so they don't think they disappointed you.

So I am a 20 or so year survivor of prostate cancer, diagnosed in my mid-50's.  Dry orgasms are fairly common with me, although occasionally I will excrete some clear fluid - particularly if I've been 'saving it up' for a while.  My treatment protocol was brachytherapy (radiation seeds) so on rare occasions (I think it's happened 2 or 3 times) I have actually ejaculated blood.  My oncologist explained that the seeds have weakened the walls of my urethra and that can cause blood vessels to tear during ejaculation contractions and it's nothing to be concerned about.

I share this because, as was mentioned before, I always explain this if I'm seeing someone new and I have never had anything but understanding and empathetic response from the provider.  They are always more than patient with me and for that I am eternally grateful.

With old farts like us, sometimes the valve in the urethra doesn't quite direct the flow of ejaculate down the tube, instead emptying it into the bladder.  One way to tell is by the cloudiness of your urine afterwards, although cloudiness can be caused by several things, so it's not completely indicative.

I had to have a foley's catheter when i was in the hospital a couple of years ago for a drug resistant bladder infection that came really close to killing me.  For a month afterwards, I would feel like I had great orgasms, but nada one spurting jizz.  My urologist told me "It's going to be a few more weeks until your can fill her mouth"  in those words.  He had me do kaegels(sp?) which reversed the problem.  

Four years ago I had a total prostatectomy for prostate cancer (Got it all).  Since then and of course no ejaculation but I have learned to experience a different kind of orgasm and can have several in a session for the first time in my life.  I always explain it to them before we get started  telling them: “ Nothing to spit , nothing to swallow, nothing to wash out of your hair. But if it is the taste of semen that makes your day you might be disappointed“  Most are fine with this.

As has been said before. Just explain it to the gal and then enjoy.

I do have an irgasm and I do cum..at 70.. I guess I should feel lucky.. but i have noticed that i have ejaculate continues to ooze out for sometime afterwards.  It does not shoot out with the power i used to have.. aging is not for sissies
