call me weird, but I find that an intense workout 2-3 hours before my date gets me pumped up and ready.

Maybe something to do with blood flow or endorphins...

in any case, so more or less I'm always limbered up.

I hate having Charlie horses, etc. the day after.  People used to ask me at work if I had been horseback riding.

I have even instructed a guy to do a few jumping jacks during the appointment. I know it sounds weird but a little extra raise in the blood pressure is sometimes just the trick to get Mr Happy to be up to the task

to an afternoon or evening encounter.  This works for me.

Once I tried to do a heavy cardio workout and then see a provider and that wasn't a good idea because of the fatigue and hydration factors.
