How many over 60’s have VPNs?

Apparently, not many.

Look forward to return of normalcy whenever that may be and whatever that will look like.

Including most providers I know.

Or it could be that the over-60 crowd has enough contacts to get along just fine without TER. :)

but then they said "times up", and I have to pay if I want more.

Screw them.

...I can't really answer your question. But I know of 3 including me. I am sticking with it for a while but I am considering ending my VPN service. (It costs me about $7 a month.) I'm just not ready to do it yet. I'm waiting to see what happens (if anything) next.

I'm still here.  I've been using NordVPN for several years now, so I'll still be popping in from time to time.

Less than $3 a month for NordVPN, so it's part of my daily increased security protocols in the New World Order. Running it on two MacBooks and my iPhone and I feel a bit better about communications. Now if the rest of y'all would get on board and ladies? Change those locations!

99/yr on as many devices as I want.  i bought it for an overseas trip to keep my WiFi connections secure.  Now I use it for work, leisure & hobby.
Good to see some people are still active.  I was starting to wonder if the >60 crowd just left.

I didn't like the idea of anyone (ISP, etc) knowing what I am browsing (TER, P411, porn, etc). I don't think it will return to normal until reviews and providers' actual based cities become available because TER usefulness at current state is very limited.

I got a VPN account the day TER went restricted. I'm 65.

... me.
The EPIC browser's built-in proxy gets me here.  It is not a VPN.

pretty worthless accept for the ladies that have relocated.
Boards are Deadsville!

Makes the "Other Details" on P411 more important.
Only wish they actually meant what I feel they should mean.

Not too much going on here these days, but I do check in every now and then to see what's up!  It's difficult to maintain interest when you log on and see the same messages every day.

We can't just sit and wait for change...we need to make it happen.  Get involved in bringing our community together, and get the laws changed to only affect those that it is allegedly meant to target!

A post just now on the GD board about Viagra made me look at this board to see if there was any activity. I was surprised to see that there has been a little. I was expecting nothing. Hopefully Ter will soon resolve their dilemma. It's a shame that active boards are now dead and reviews are sparse at best.

Why would anyone not have a VPN?  Its just another normal layer of security.

I would suspect that the assumption is that us old fossilized bastards (reference the handle) ain't up on the latest tech advantages.

Good Morning,

I don't have a VPN.....

Some one was kind enough to share about proxy otherwise I wouldn't be able to get on here.

I love reading the boards.

Hell I love playing.

Hope you all have a fantastic day.

Opera is an innovative, less well known but reputable browser that has its own FREE built-in VPN service that you can switch on/off with a click.  No contracts.  No additional software to install.

I second the Opera browser idea.  I did it and turned on the free VPN and here I am -- back and ready to be part of the community again!

Yes it's good, and gets you here.
But calling it "VPN" is a stretch.  It's really a proxy without the full protections of a VPN.
Not knocking it! I use it (or Epic, similarly).
Just don't expect all the protection of a full paid VPN, if you need those.  For TER you do not.

But I got one within 24-48 hours of TER not being open to the US...I think more people are coming aboard.

I got vpnhub premium for $13 per month. Works fine to access TER, but not sure I will remain when current subscription and overages expire.
