I started taking Daily Cialis several weeks ago after reading Dr. Erika Thost's excellent book on the subject, which I highly recommend.  I had been using 100mg Viagra as needed for many years. I am 71yo and frequently date women ages 18 to 25.

 I began by taking the recommended starter dose of 5mg of Cialis daily.  After little more than a week I noticed more spontaneous erections when thinking sexy thoughts or viewing online pictures, and more frequent morning wood.  Masturbation became easier too.  My sexual performance was not as reliable as with Viagra, so I've increased my daily dose to 7.5mg of Cialis.  As Dr. Erika recommends, experiment to find the dose that works for you, there's no risk of overdose with Cialis.

Psychologically, I enjoy the idea that now I can be spontaneous and go for it if an opportunity presents itself without fussing about how long it's been since I took a dose of Viagra.  But I miss the facial flush and the rush I experienced with V since those symptoms gave me the confidence of knowing the drug was working for me.  My past few dates I've actually been taking a booster of 40mg of generic Viagra (sildenafil) in addition to my Daily Cialis and that combination has worked exceptionally well.  I'd like to feel confident about only taking the daily C, but I'm not quite there yet.

had an Rx for 5 mg and I'd cut the pills in half (or close enough since they're not round). Helped the BPH symptoms and increased morning wood and general ease of getting it up, but it takes at least a few days to kick in. If I was planning an extended stay (more than an hour) with a provider, I'd supplement with another 2.5 mg a few hours before.

I tried V a few times, but the flushing and headache reminded me of getting the flu, and at least with the low daily dose, C never gave me a bad side effect.  

I'm not aware of any reliable generic.

with Trimix?  Trimix is an injectable prescription that will give me an erection after 5-10 minutes.  My doctor said not to take Viagara and Trimix at the same time.
