Hi Kenya, Back in my distant past I spent 2 years in Kenya, the country, not a hot Kissing Kenya. I think you will find this group pretty laid back and fun loving.  Come to think of it I have had a lot of fun laying on my back.

A trip to Kenya? How was the experience? A trip of pleasure or a missionary organization?

I'm looking forward to meeting and making new friends on the laid back level. It fits my personality better. Although, I enjoy the rowdiness every once in awhile, a chilled atmosphere is always appreciated.

Hmmm fun on your back? Well.. I have a lot of fun on my side, knees, stomach...you get my drift

I had a Fulbright Scholarship to conduct research on wildlife in Kenya, and Uganda. I had my wife and 2 young kids with me. We spent 16 months of the time on Safari and living in tents. It was a wonderful experience.

I would love to learn more of your experience. World travel adventure is a passion of mine. It is definitely within my goals to gain this experience to have a story to share.

We were there at a pivotal time in the histories of both Kenya and Uganda. The first year Uganda got there independence from Great Britain and Kenya got theirs the second year. In the following 53 years they have gone through some very traumatic events and both countries are so much different from what we encountered, I have no desire to return. But, I guess this could be said about many countries, including ours.

Well Missionary is not opposed to pleasure, it just gets boring if that's all you do.
