I was hoping to get some insight from those of you who continue to hobby after prostate surgery eliminates your ability to ejaculate. HeLop surgery essentially “hollows out” the prostate (rather than full removal) which eliminates the annoying symptoms that come with an enlarged prostate ( frequent urinating, leakage, etc) but it also wipes out the production, and thus, ejaculation of semen. Doc says I will still be able to get and maintain an erection, and can climax, but no ejaculation. I’m having a problem with this, emotionally, and was hoping to get some insight. I’m 61 with a high sex drive and, well, just trying to weigh my options. Thanks guys…and ladies, if you have some thoughts
I'm 70 hurtling towards 71, and for the last 2 years or so my prostate has expanded but semen production is down to just a few drops, and that's after waiting a week between ejaculations.
Rather than fret, I just enjoy the sex and the gals probably like that the clean up is a lot less messy. A man has to know his limitations, as the saying goes.
I had a regular friend that could not ejaculate, but had some awesome dry orgasms. He would explain how it felt, so much more intense. I think it’s just a mental thing if you allow it to mess with your head. I don’t care if the money shot happens because it’s not necessary if you’re enjoying the pleasure of a providers company. As long as it feels good & you’re having fun don’t sweat the small stuff. Make it an erotic adventure exploring new fun options.
They love it when a guy produces a large load, either to swallow or for cum on various parts of their body.
I've known several and they are always hot, especially about how this make them hot. Now, I do know that a lot of that is theatrical for my benefit, and I do appreciate it that they do so, but lately as I've been unable to produce the juice, it is a bit of a disappointment.
I had prostate cancer surgery some 20 years ago. So no semen, but could still have a climax. I use Viagra which helps get a good erection.
I became involved with a younger woman and we became intimate some years ago. After the first time, I told her I had no semen. Her response: "Thats great. I do not like the taste of it, and there is no mess to clean up after". WOW. what a wonderful response. We have had many happy times since. The paid providers are a bit puzzled at times, but actually enjoy BBBJ more. The cover is always empty.
I had the procedure done earlier this year. Was told to abstain for 6 weeks, think I lasted about 2. Side effects are no sperm during ejaculation which was surprising at first but not a problem now. No mess to clean up. Haven’t met a single girl that has a complaint.
My (now retired) urologist recommended "Aquablation" instead of the tamsulosin (generic FloMax) and finasteride that he prescribed for BPH. Aquablation as I understand it involved essentially a high-powered water-pik up the urethra in a possible out-patient procedure or overnight hospital stay if you can't pee that day. The practice's PA and now my effective doctor for urology wasn't so sure it was needed. She had warned me when I first went on the tamsulosin that it would almost certainly cause retrograde ejaculation, but she is willing to consider it if the urine retention increases. Both agree that it will eliminate retrograde ejaculation and most night-time urination. As far as ejaculation is concerned, outward ejaculation definitely feels better and more satisfying than retrograde ejaculation. However, nobody who belongs on this board should be considering making any new babies.
I've been wrestling with the same issues, looking to alternatives for my BPH. I'm not quite there yet, in terms of symptoms, but probably will be in tnext few years.
Depending on the size of your prostate, you may be able to consider a UroLift: https://www.uclahealth.org/medical-services/urology/conditions-treated/male-conditions/benign-prostatic-hyperplasia-bph/urolift-benign-prostatic-hyperplasia-bph One of its advantages is that it preserves ejaculation. Good luck.
