Talk about a great urologist.  I saw him today and told him I need to get the blue pill discretely.  He says, "we sell the generic equivalent right here. Just call ahead, bring cash and we will give you a little bag with the quantity you want."   Love it!

Wow, what a great idea.  How much is the generic?

Sildenafil is the generic  Viagra. It costs about  1$ per pill. You need Dr. prescription. Total no-brainer here!

It's almost a total no brainer. Sildenafil is indeed the generic, comes in 20 mg pills, so you take up to 5 at a time depending on the dosage you desire. It is prescribed for heart conditions, not for E.D. You need a Dr. who understands the cost issue with Viagra and is sympathetic and will prescribe the Sildenafil for your E.D. use. Then it can be a challenge filling the prescription. I was told at my regular pharmacy that my insurance would not cover it. So I went to another pharmacy. They had to call it in to their central office for approval, and finally it got approved. It did wind up costing me about $1 per pill, but would have been much more without the insurance coverage. Not a bad outcome considering the alternatives, but not exactly a no brainer.

Do you mean your wife won't know you're taking a boner pill and wonder why?  If so, what makes you think she doesn't know about Google and will do a search for this new prescription you're on?

I think the OP was thinking he would get a prescription that he would fill and pay for with cash.  So it would not show up on his insurance or any other record.

I can be like Viagra lol
And I'm all about discretion

Another element of discretion is the fact that the 20 mg generic Sildenafil I get is a small white pitt not the well known "blue pill" of the brand named Viagra.

Just had my annual physical and asked the doctor for Viagra. We had a discussion in which he wanted to eliminate CPOD as a possible cause, and then said since he didn't expect insurance to cover it so he would send the prescription for sildenafil to a local pharmacy that he knows charges $1 a pill even though it wasn't my pharmacy of record. He sent my other Rx for a toenail fungus med to the Rite-Aid that is on record.

He said that he thinks the big chains have a kickback scheme in place with Pfizer. So there are plenty of good docs out there.

Sure enough, that pharmacy had my pills and charged me $30 for 30 pills.

I would not have filed for insurance if it was covered -- I would not take the risk my wife would see the record of it since the insurance company puts everything online. So I feel like I just saved a bundle
