OMG ! – I’ve been “Caramelized”
Perhaps this does need a bit of an explanation .  The process of heating sugar to the point of turning it into caramel without burning it and ruining the entire process is a very delicate process in the culinary world. The amount and frequency of stirring the raw ingredients, the proper temperature, the attention required by the chef so as not to spoil the intended result………….all of these things must occur for a successful cooking session. (The reason for all this preface will become evident later on!)
Well, after some “coaxing” from a very good friend of mine I made contact with Marcella and after a few emails and a couple of telephone conversations we agreed upon a date and time to finally meet. Of course I had seen her website and was initially quite impressed with the professionalism, tastefulness and quality of it as a website (obviously this is NOT a “do-it-yourself” website) and by the intriguing manner in which she had portrayed herself.
