I agree. I ask the client to confirm, by text or call before the appointment. No confirmation for a first timer and I text them and tell them it's ok if they can't make it, just be courteous and let me know.

My regulars don't have to confirm, but they usually do anyway. Good clients respect your time.

...I know that some providers can be unreliable/inconsiderate; but, in my many years as a provider, I've never known too many hobbyist to not show up for a scheduled appointment.

Is there something you ladies could share about this topic?  In the three weeks that I've been back, I've had two no shows from TER members and it kinda scares me.

Anything you could share would be greatly appreciated.

That is unacceptable behavior and inexcusable for a bonafide TER Member – one not just using someone else’s handle.

No Call No Show? Name them if you are confident they were who they said they were!

A couple of questions...

Were these Whitelisted Members or those with pages of reviews?

Were you able to reference or verify them in some way?

Do you have the gentlemen phone you an hour prior to meeting to confirm? I do this and it hasn't failed me yet. If they don't call, I don't start getting ready.

If I can help in any way, feel free to email or PM me.

I'm sorry this happened to you! Better luck in the future!

I always try to txt a confirmation. I've had to cancel once or twice and always called as soon as I knew I had to cancel. It's just common courtesy. I agree with Gina, list their names, real TER members should have better behaviour than that.

I'm just waiting for my schedule to open up so I can come and visit you!

A client not showing up is totally rude and thoughtless. I usually don't make appointments very far in advance. However, if I do, I confirm an hour or so prior to the appointment. Sometimes providers forget too!

As a client, I've had providers not be available as promised. One instance was last summer. A young woman from Tucson was in Phoenix on weekends occasionally. I had seen her ads and she looked very nice. I called and she said she was available in a hotel just a few miles from where I lived. Was supposed to see her about half hour after I called. I get to the hotel and call again. She answers and chats for a bit, and then she tells me that she can't see me but one of her friends could see me. No knowing or having seen anything about her friends, I wasn't going to go for that. Anyways, it wasted my time.
