I'm forever seeing guys bust phony photos using Tin-eye on various boards....

so what is the story?

Is there a new rule that you can't do that?

It would seem a shame if that is so.  Those that steal photos should be held accountable, and potential clients should be warned.

My friend is a model/actress. While browsing Eros I noticed a lady using her pics. I know it isn't my friend. So I posted a notice about the stolen pics. I was informed by the moderator "Providers are not allowed to out each other publicly."

However, in the past I have seen ladies post about their own photos being stolen by other ladies. So what is the rule exactly? If the equivalent is ok, then why is one okay and the other not.

My friend is not a provider so she cannot post about her photos being stolen.

There are no new rules, and the mod made his decision for a reason. Nuff said!

My guess is that there is info we're NOT being told here.  Posting about fake providers or ads, or stolen pics is always allowed. There must be extenuating circumstances in this case.

If TER is allowing the thread to stay up here, complete with all the objetions to the mod's descision, then it is more than likely not their trying to keep anything from hobbyists. Could be some other unexplained variable at work.

Remember the #1 rule of this hobby, any ad with pics that are not of a reviewed provider is one that should be approached with cautious interest at most.
