Hi,

Thank you for contacting us.

The "something to hide" listings are providers who have in some way played "unfairly" with a client (along the lines of threatening someone over a review) or who have requested to not have reviews on the site because they have less than stellar reviews/scores.

Thank you for the support,

I think being listed there tells me all I need to know. But between the "Classic TER" still having the reviews up and "New TER's" "providers with something to hide" we get a very clear picture of a lady.

So a lady I had tried to see about a year ago is still around, as far as I know, but her TER profile is kind of weird. The only information available on her is the top section of general info. I know there used to be a whole page of info on her, including reviews, etc. Can a provider choose to have that info removed, and what would be a reason for doing so? I really do want to see her, but  am a little confused and perturbed by the lack of reviews and info. Any insights?

A provider can not remove her reviews and leave her profile. It is some kind of glitch, and you need to let TER know.

...instead of doing a Problem Report.  That's why I have MANY YEARS of free VIP in my account.  I laugh every time I read a thread about how to pay for membership.  Shhh, perfectstorm, don't tell anyone my secret.  I want people to post problems so I can get the free VIP days.

They are all like that. I have know clue why. Why not ask TER?

We know we can find the reviews of the "providers with something to hide" profiles by temporarily switching to "classic."

This is what TER sent me.

It is Sort of a "limbo" between active and delisted providers.
Interesting that we can still see the entire profile on "classic."

Classic just can't handle the "limbo" state so it shows all.

probably classified as 'provider with something to hide'..check that section..

Mac didn't make that up.

Look under reviews, and then search. There is a section "providers with something to hide" and by the way, that is exactly where you find the profile to the lady in question.

Since Cubbie's entire message was "LOL!!! EOM"  I thought he didn't realize that section actually existed.
After all, just a couple days ago he was on the newbie board asking how to file a problem report. :)
