With apologies to Dillan Gee and John Niese, it was only fitting that the first no hitter in team history was finally thrown by someone of Johan Santana's stature. He has been one of the best pitchers in the game over this past decade and after being hurt all last year, its great to see him back and in top form.

that the number of pitches that he threw (134, a career-high) doesn't cause him problems later. After all, he's coming off shoulder surgery. But like everyone else, if someone had to throw a no-no, I'm glad it was Santana.
