What if a Republican had been in office these past four years?  Obama has surpassed Bush on his worst day with fuel increases, unemployment, and more than doubled the rate of debt yet the guy is getting a pass.  We are being told that it's all kind of normal now.  Everything is becoming Greece.  It's bullshit to cover for an incompetent boob and the mindless sheep that continue to follow him.

Interesting & viable article by Scott Rasmussen ( who some may discount because they see his polling organization as "conservatively biased" )which validates that election will not be won by bullshit issues such as Secret Service agents fucking Colombian hookers & "Hillary Rosen flap", but what shape the economy is in come Nov.

An aggregate of 5 polls from Realclear politics.com show BHO's #'s slipping to where he leads Romney by a mere 2.4%. Numerous factors can be responsible for this ,but I'll lay odds it was the disappointing job #'s from last month
that propelled the slippage. 120,000 jobs created last month, when it was forecast that 200,000 would be created.  To many, perception is that it's a weak recovery & we're still mired in deep recession.

Come election time, if gas prices are under $ 4 a gallon & if jobs being created at decent rate & unemployment at 8% or below, BHO wins. If not, he's toast.

It'll be a close election.

Pictured below : the shape of things to come ?

And if the Yankees score more runs than the Angels tonight they will probably win.

OC, are you trying to say that noted pollster Rasmussen is also "stating the obvious" ?

You'd think "Sal" would be happy that "Mr 1%" is "gaining traction", but what belies his insecurity is that with 8.2% unemployment rate & gas averaging $ 4 a gallon, Mitt should be leading BHO by double digits at this point, but, best he can do is stat. tie within the margin of error, all of which demonstrates what a shitty candidate Mitt is.

All this proves is that "Sal" is a nitwit who should spare us & start moving to Wyo.------

Fredo is the icon and it fits you on so many different levels.

It's about Obama and the media trying to convince the public to believe his spin and not their eyes.  8% unemployment has become the new norm, he can't do anything about $4 gas, $5 Trillion added debt in 3.5 years is to feed the starving babies and grandmas.

It's an election where the incumbent and media are ignoring his record of failure and focusing on important things like free birth control and a random killing of a 17-year-old black kid by a half Latino with a white last name.

Ahhhhhh, the "Social Darwinist, survival of the fittest" wing of the GOP. Got news for ya-----"genetic engineering/genocide" didn't work for Hitler, Mao & Stalin & ain't gonna work for Romney/Ryan. Keep arguing on that basis & blubbering about the MSM & Obama wins.

Once again, it all comes down to what economy looks like come election time, not the Sophistic slobberings of right-wing simpletons.

who you voted for TWICE, so, I wouldn't talk about "mindless sheep" if I were you. Unemployment rate is same now as when BHO took office in 1/'09. Highest ever price for a gallon of gas( $ 4.11 a gallon ) was under GWB who was
giving billions to his Texas Oil buddies.

What you're too obtuse to realize, OC, is that we're part of interconnected world economy that is having MASSIVE current structural changes that any Dem or GOP POTUS is really helpless to change at this point, which is fuelling the massive discontent & MAY make BHO a 1 termer. OTOH, IF Romney wins, these same factors will make HIM a 1 termer.

Now, give us a break & move to Wyo-----;)

You are regurgitating meaningless talking points.

I work, & can rapidly write posts & find links ( usually no more than 15 min ).

Now here's a buck----go away & STFU-------;)

You could not be more pathetic.

You take pride in coming up with a reply to a post in 15 minutes or less, WOW there is a goal to strive to attain. So based on what you just admitted to, you measure your success in life no how fast you can write a post and find a childish cartoon in your archives and post it.

Then the rest of your waking hours are spent searching the net for more stupid, infantile cartoons/pics etc. to store so you can post at a moments notice  Hey ya gotta do something while you are hanging around waiting for that welfare check.

What a sad, sorry pathetic life…..

You’re Welcome

The Republican meme has always been to have the top 1% throw little bread crumbs to the bottom 99%!

I have no idea what the stats are, but I would wager that the top 1% is composed of a large number of democrats as well as republicans. WTF, Obama is one of them, as are most his Whitehouse staff members.

I've raised my kids, and had two grandmothers, and wanted none of them to starve, so back off your bullshit.

Btw, your stick-on patches work great. You've made millions$$$$ on those, huh. You a member of the top 1%? LMAO.

a republican :

wants to let anyone starve?
will actively work to keep medical care from 'the poor"?
wants to eliminate a retirement account that people have paid into?

there are simply different ways to approach and pay for the above programs....

a dem fear monger )like the Pri) hope the labels stick to enough to get a few votes out of what is realistically lies.

Arizona Cuts Financing for Transplant Patients

The issue has led to a fierce political battle, with Democrats condemning the reductions as “Brewercare,” after Gov. Jan Brewer.

“We made it very clear at the time of the vote that this was a death sentence,” said State Senator Leah Landrum Taylor, a Democrat. “This is not a luxury item. We’re not talking about cosmetic surgery.”

Effective at the beginning of October, Arizona stopped financing certain transplant operations under the state’s version of Medicaid. Many doctors say the decision amounts to a death sentence for some low-income patients, who have little chance of survival without transplants and lack the hundreds of thousands of dollars needed to pay for them.

“The most difficult discussions are those that involve patients who had been on the donor list for a year or more and now we have to tell them they’re not on the list anymore,” said Dr. Rainer Gruessner, a transplant specialist at the University of Arizona College of Medicine. “The frustration is tremendous. It’s more than frustration.”

Organ transplants are already the subject of a web of regulations, which do not guarantee that everyone in need of a life-saving organ will receive one. But Arizona’s transplant specialists are alarmed that patients who were in line to receive transplants one day were, after the state’s budget cuts to its Medicaid program, ruled ineligible the next — unless they raised the money themselves.

Francisco Felix, 32, a father of four who has hepatitis C and is in need of a liver, received news a few weeks ago that a family friend was dying and wanted to donate her liver to him. But the budget cuts meant he no longer qualified for a state-financed transplant.

He was prepared anyway at Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center as his relatives scrambled to raise the needed $200,000. When the money did not come through, the liver went to someone else on the transplant list.

“I know times are tight and cuts are needed, but you can’t cut human lives,” said Mr. Felix’s wife, Flor. “You just can’t do that.”

Such high drama is unfolding regularly here as more and more of the roughly 100 people affected by the cuts are becoming known: the father of six who died before receiving a bone marrow transplant, the plumber in need of a new heart and the high school basketball coach who struggles to breathe during games at high altitudes as she awaits a lung transplant.

“I appreciate the need for budget restraints,” said Dr. Andrew M. Yeager, a University of Arizona professor who is director of the Blood and Marrow Transplantation Program at the Arizona Cancer Center. “But when one looks at a potentially lifesaving treatment, admittedly expensive, and we have data to support efficacy, cuts like this are shortsighted and sad.”
