Heck, I was 14 my close and play had Kiss, Aerosmith and Zeppelin with my dad screaming up the stairs to turn it down. It wasn't until my late 20's until now that Elvis has been in my wheelhouse and still is, I can't believe it been 39 years. Suspicious minds is my favorite. Thanks for the reminder Tori.

Rest in paradise Elvis...I remember exactly where I was, and what I was doing that sad day so long ago, yet seems like only yesterday sometimes. Today, is a good day to sit and listen to my extensive Elvis album collection...  :)

I have collection of 49 albums, from the King of Rock n Roll. While I have always been a Elvis fan, it wasn't till the last 10 years that I started collecting his albums. I have almost every album he ever made while living, and most are in mint condition. I even bought a 1965 Vintage Magnavox stereo to play those great albums on. It just wouldn't be the same to play those oldies on a CD or current stereo. Suspicious Minds is a good one, but there were so many songs that made this man great, I could hardly pick a favorite........

Although I was 3 when he passed away, I could never deny his influence on me as a musician and on the music world in general. I grew up with him and even visited Graceland and his childhood home in Tupelo when I was a teen.  I don't believe there is a musician that doesn't know who he was and, regardless if their a fan or not, no one can deny his talent and influence.

Much like the other greats, Michael Jackson, Prince, Mozart; what he left behind can never be replaced or duplicated.  He will always live through his art.

Much respect and love always.

Burning love........what an awesome number 😀
