Struck out twice in three days. Had appointment with MC tourist in Baltimore on Tues. On confirmatory call she is MIA so cancellation #1 (turns out she was sick so just as well) So on to next plan with one of my Fav MC gals (Sekret) in DC. She was to have arrived in DC today & I was to be her first visit. Called agency to confirm her arrival and told she was in the hotel waiting. Upon arrival to hotel got room number ... Knock on door and wait ... Knock again... no answer. Housekeeping service beginning to look at me oddly. Back down to lobby, call agency again Told right hotel right room number. They call her and tell her to open the door. Back up to room knock on door again, no answer... thinking WTF ... knock again still no answer... back to lobby another call to agency ... OOPS! she is actually still in Detroit because of a screw up in her travel plans ... so her I am knocking on a door in DC and shes opening a door in Detroit. Fortunately the door I kept knocking on was to a room that did not appear to be occupied. Imagine if someone (of a female or male for that matter persuasion) had actually answered the door. Ah the subtle joys of the hobby. To make matters worse my steady is not available. Got something set up for tomorrow. Hopefully the third times a charm! Happy hobbying!
