I had a very well-known DC provider come out and tell me her name while we were getting dressed at the end of our first meeting. I asked her why she told me and she said she didn't know. Very odd.

I have had it happen a couple of times, usually with more mature providers when they seem to feel very comfortable.  I take it as a small sign of trust and that they feel secure in the situation.   In two instances a provider started talking about herself and inadvertently used her real name when telling a story or incident that occurred in civie life.  I think they just lost focus for a minute and felt relaxed enough to be having a regular conversation and slipped up.    In both cases they realized it right away and we just pretended it never happened.  Generated a lot of goodwill on future visits ...lol.

...and I took it as a sign of trust.  Still in touch.

This has not happened often but I sometimes have formed some very deep relationships in this world and so at least five providers have told me their real names. I never asked to know, but the relationship got to the point where it seemed natural and they really wanted me to call them by their real names and to open up their lives to me. In some cases I have met their kids. At their request, we've also friended each other on social media (our civvie, non-sex-work  accounts) so we can keep up with each other's lives even when not seeing each other. It's been great to really get to know them outside the bedroom.

I do it with my SB's. All my regulars told me their real names so I can keep track of them on FB. I do care about them as a person and hope they are doing well.

Not that I'm going to suggest someone should run their mouth about such information.

I don't really get the point of the OP in many way and certainly the way the thread has developed have to wonder if it's been counter productive. With all these guy posting about how some provider give real life info (but did any show an ID?) I have to wonder if the next round of complaints from providers might be everyone is asking my real name.

We should all know enough to keep our mouths shut about that type of information. It's not like anyone who was so stupid as to post something like that here would not be banned quickly -- it's a clear violation of TER rules.  If the goal was some type of PSA about BCD should stay there, aside from the review info that should clearly be anonymous relative to any person details, it seems to be kind of violating the spirit of that rule.

As soon as  I open the door, they tell me their LN, FN, SSN, MMN, DoB, ZIP.
Then immediately they rip their panties, throw it on my face and squirt in ecstasy.
Isn't that how all the session goes?  No?

Come now, I wouldn't remember their stage names, 2 seconds after I walk out.  Why would I remotely be curious or interested in their real identities, even if it slipped or not.....

I have never had a lady I see regularly not offer up her real name. Of course it only comes up after a mutual chemisty, trust and "quasi friendship" is recognized (that's how the lady and I become regs to begin with). The revelation is typically explained to me as "more comfortable". Btw, by this time they have known my name anyways via P411, outcall visits to my place or just self-identification because I have nothing to hide nor fear.
