When someone makes a posting, it seems people just recommend the same 3-4 providers for every request. Is the DC scene really that bland?

For a major city, DC has the worst quality of local providers. Most are over the hill, over priced and prefer being taken out on dates where hundreds of dollars are being spent on them via dinners, lavish events, on top of their hourly rate...rather than actually 'working via the traditional hotel meet'.

Well, Doc, I'm satisfied with the variety I get. Between the occasional touring lady and my regulars I'm pretty satisfied.

Pretty good description and not too far off the mark. But I would also argue pretty much the same across the United States except for New York and Los Angeles. But those are pretty big population centers and places women like to visit. Although, I've heard the LA clientele can suck.  

A good majority of providers do not post ads on TER.  You need to follow their Twitter and get on their email list.  I have plenty of emails from tours, etc.  Just the new way these days.

DC has been dead for years now.  The quality ones are always from previous generation, 10+ years ago. A brief look at top 25 would show that.  

What range is the pricing of the Twitter girls?

There's no real answer to your question. Same price range as any ladies. It varies.

Most independent ladies cost much more, but their service is much better.  Average is between $500-700 per hour.  I've seen ladies up to $1000 an hour.  Victoria Secret model types.  Is it worth it?  For me, yes.  Looks are important along with quality time together.  

Twitter is a gateway to widening your library of providers. Providers like to retweet Twitter posts from other providers. Suddenly you discover a provider that distracts you from the original provider's page. You click on the newly discovered provider's Twitter page, and discover retweets from other providers that she posted. You can go down a deep rabbit hole of newly discovered providers if you don't stop.
