If you are thinking about Downtown there are several options in the Dupont Circle area..you definitly want to be near a metro stop. You will probably want to wait until after the 4th as the holiday is certainy a big deal here..however you might enjoy the activities on the mall..all work no play, well you know how that goes!
You may allso want to think about something along the lines of coming in between baltimore and wasington.

Count me in on this delicious treat!!!! I have been tracking this one in NY forever and now coming to our back yard!!! Yummy, yummy in my tummy (as well as other places). A yenta/MILF from NY. Suggestions: make sure it's the week after the long July 4 weekend or after and Dupont Circle area in DC or BWI area (half way between DC and Baltimore) would probably work best for you.
