so i've been debating back and forth if i should do a film, i have gotten several request but turning them down because i dont want my work life to disturb my personal life, its very hard to balance the two, but im 20 and from New york which is very urban and even though its very big most people know eachother or knows someone who knows someone, anyway.. with that being said i am turning 21 this winter and i plan to move from here very soon, however since i know ill be working way more, i feel i need a larger audience to forfil my working needs, so ive been having gut feelings about doing a film with just 1 guy at a time not a a orgy vid or anything. but maybe something simple but wild.

i dont want to ruin my High Quality Rep with clients because ive done a video, i dont want them to view me any different.

it makes me second guess also because out of curiousity, i've browsed other girls videos, who work as well and i see them convert over to films with other ts and im really not into that. i have doubled a client before with a friend but im really not into having a 1on1 session with another girl like me. i feel some do it becasue maybe they arernt making enough or idk , just thoughts are all over the place.

please give me your thoughts,

Go for it. I don't really know why it would hurt your red. From a marketing perspective, I think it could raise your status (and fees).

If you are interested in doing a movie go for it.  If anything I think it will help you.  People will get a better idea of what time with you is like.  Yes, I know that a film is not reality but it can still help.  Plus for some it is a bonus to say they were with a porn star.

Look at River Stark.  She has made movies and is in high demand with great reviews.

While I worked quite some time ago escorting, I didn't get full swing into it until after I started my adult film career. While I'm certainly biased toward porn (I'm a 2016 TEA Nominated Performer and a 2017 AVN Nominated Performer) because I'm already in the industry in multiple capacities, I'd say it's reasonable for other reasons. First, while other girls need to spend time and money investing in all of these websites and tools to drive traffic to it, because my name is scattered across the internet, I don't need a website to establish that legitimacy as a performer or a provider, so it save me cash there.

Second, photos from shoots are free promotional material for ads. While I run a mix of selfies and professional photos in ads (I've found a mix of selfies and pro photos are prime), my professional photos are free, which is even more money saved in the long run.

Next, depending only the style you bring to film, it probably won't detract from what clients perceive or expect from you. You could ask half the boys here who have seen my film, and seen me in person, and they'd plainly tell you that the persona I present on film is what they get in real life. That for good reason as I've made a conscious effort to be myself on camera, which is the same thing they get in person.

Further, I have not noticed any negative reaction from guys here in the slightest. In fact it's been quite the obvious. If you stroll into certain lists that are available on TER, you may notice I'm the second TS provider in history to make it look n a certain national list.

I guess bottom line, porn isn't going to hurt your reputation, and if anything it's going to significantly elevate that.

Now finally, if you have reservation about environment while shooting if you decided to go that route, come shoot for me. I just so happen to be a producer for Grooby Productions (the worlds largest perveyor of TS content. As another trans provider and performer, I'm intimately aware of what it's like to be in front of the camera, which makes working behind the camera a significant advantage for performers I shoot. I coach where necessary and have yet to have a girl walk off my set and not be pleased with the content/product we created. As a note though, all porn companies will start you off with "solo" scenes, and not hardcore (partnered) ones to test suitability. So if your interested, I wouldn't focus on doing a scene with some guy yet, you need to get a solo out of the way first.

If your interested, let me know via DM.

So I think you should ask yourself... do you REALLY want to be a porn star? If the answer is YES! I really want to be a porn star, then go for it! But if your sole motivation is to become a more successful escort, then I would recommend you consider this:

Let's say tomorrow you decide that you want to quit the escort biz. You disconnect your phones and take all your ads down. It will take some time for your pictures to fall off the site aggregators like "Livetsreviews", "tsphonesearch", and "asexyservice", but eventually - maybe in a 3-5 years, there will be no footprint of your online life as an escort. You will be forgotten and go back to a semi-charmed private life. But if you do porn, a XXX modeling shoot or just a solo scene - this is going to live on forever. Every week, there are trans porn scenes from 30 years ago that get posted up online as if they were new. Just like with Hollywood movies, any scenes you make will still be getting posted on the internet and watched long after you die. You got to really want to be a porn star, and be completely OK with the repercussions of that decision. No looking back because you can't take it back.

Completely agree.  Whether GG or TS, porn is forever.  Continue grinding and providing good service and your name will grow and get to where you want it to be.  I don't think porn will skyrocket your clientele as much as you would imagine, unless you just want to attach "pornstar" to your name to charge a higher fee.

especially the points about being sure since it is forever, "being yourself" on camera (where possible), and BEING SAFE!
beyond the promotional materials aspect that river so eloquently outlines, i would add that video work can be an added revenue stream as well as help with diversification from escorting.
selling my videos ala carte on several sites adds a few dollars here & there to bank account and that can be nice when in-person biz is slow.
ditto for dollars via my pay website (huge caveat: as river mentioned it is a lot of work and you have to do your own cost/benefit analysis)
at least for me, video efforts were a jumping off point into phonesex/sexting work & private cam sessions (and for some it helps with live cam work, which i candidly do not have a knack for)
in no way talking about major "make-a-living" dollars with any of the above, just potential additions on the margins to help with making a living in the sexwork biz.
good luck hun! xoxo
now back to editing down 90+ minutes of raw footage into a 15-20 minute scene (yes, i suck at the cost/benefit analysis thingy, lol)
