Hotels - you cannot go wrong with the Marriott or either of the Majestic properties nearby Nana Plaza - clean, close, and guest-friendly

Strongly suggest you refrain from trying to set anything up ahead of time - just wing it for your first visit, my friend

Unless you intend to 'book' a known favorite a 'LT' ('long time', or overnight) - or a trip for several days to Phuket or Pattaya - trying to set something up in advance is a waste of effort

Reason - until you meet, you are (to her) just another unseen customer - who she knows may well blow off your previously arranged meeting once you encounter your first stunner in one of the bars

It works both ways, though - unless you are a known customer (or are setting up something girl via a mutual friend's referral) she may do the same to you and go with a customer who pays her barfine an hour before you are to meet her

Suggestion - if you have an unlocked GSM cell phone, bring it and purchase a pre-paid Thai mobile sim card (available in the arrivals hall at Don Muang) for easy communications capability

In this way, you can trade numbers with your favorite girl(s) and set up additional meetings once you are there

I strongly suggest the investment of a few hours of research on the asian-ts clubhouse forum

There you will find tips for 'newbies', an excellent search function, and recommendations / posts with all the information you want on bars, bar etiquette, specific girls, etc etc
