Someone wrote this on the newbie board and it applies to this question: It's pretty much a given, any woman who really needs the guidance she could get from the PO board doesn't have a prayer of getting access. It's just like the bank, If you want a loan the first thing you need to do is PROVE that you don't need it.
With that in mind, given the very thoughtful nature of many people on this site I thought I could count on someone to kindly help me out in a most memorable way by contacting me directly with information on screening - particularly in regards to blacklists for Toronto, Canada. Never heard of any need for a blacklist in Toronto. Its not like the U.S. since they follow a harm reduction model.
Have been going to Toronto for almost 20 years, know many gals, agency owners etc.
Bad clients are rare, although agency owners will share info to warn. From the customer side very few scams especially if you stock with the zillions of large long-time agencies mostly run by the gals. The indies tend to be very high priced but as long as customers stay off of BP (which BP Canada can't even be reached from the U.S.) should not have any issues.
I'm surprised anyone would act like there aren't many people on a blacklist just because it's Toronto. I also do not have access to the Provider forum here, TER said you need to be active in posting in the regular boards and not just ads.
I would still check out VH (I know many ladies use this in the USA too) and then our local review board provider lounge (you get access when you pay) There are some trolls, tw and fake bookers here, as well as other providers occasionally fake booking to be leery of. It's maybe not as dangerous as the USA, but unfortunately we still see a few times a year articles about robberies/abductions/assault against SWers in the Toronto area.

The zillions of large, decades-old agencies in my view are the best way to go. There are high priced independents but I've never been interested in that market.
Regardless, without the legal risk of private consenting adults, you don't have nearly the risks of scams or bad customers as in the U.S.
I really don't think a client can be giving such advice at all. You clearly know nothing that goes on behind the scenes.
I'm shocked you would say this, I'm pretty sure you're on the red board as well. I'm talking about both REPUTABLE INDY and AGENCY ladies that I know have been assaulted and/or robbed in the past year, and only SOME of it makes it into the newspapers. Many of it is just whispered about behind the scenes to those closest on the red board and Toronto community. You must be joking if you think we are safe and can call the police at any time for help. Very few ladies do and we do have problems with police not wanting to help us, or wanting freebies trying to take advantage of their position. Incall agency ladies have been assaulted as well, the guy can just run out and there's no on site security at all.
We have less people population wise, but Toronto has a lot of scary stuff going on that many hobbyists simply have no idea about because girls don't want to be outed by police/media, too scared to contact police, too ashamed to mention it on review boards for fear of judgement/hurting their business.
Toronto LE follows the harm reduction model of the Supreme Court of Canada, and are not interested in private consenting adults under C36 which could probably be overturned if challenged like prior incall restriction overturned.. Many of the agencies in Toronto have a great working relationship with LE in case there are any bad client issues and should be the same for Indy's.
