This is my story, of why I transitioned from seeing professional escorts (“pros”) to exclusively seeing the “sugar babies” of SA.
I should start by saying that I had or was supposed to have 32 pro encounters. Of these only 6, or 19% were good; while more than twice as many, 13, a full 41% were awful; 7 or 22% were OK/so-so; while I was stood up 6 times (19%), the latter all by TER reviewed ladies. Overall, I was never at ease in the scene from the get go, given the legal implications. For me, this always seemed to hang over everything like a dark shadow – the pervasive air of mistrust, the time consuming reference checks, the LEO checks, the cloak and dagger assignations. A second general consideration is that many providers are just not the sort of people I can easily connect with. It is just a fact that many are not from my usual educational or social level. It is hard to try and connect with women when they ask where you have been, and they have no idea what/where the countries are that I mention, or don’t know what a bishop or colonel are, to use some actual examples. What were some of the awful experiences? There was the pretty, fashion-house black girl who put me in hospital with a communicable disease, which – it turns out – she knew she recently had. Many of these were in the 500-750 range, and none were under 300. Given these numbers, I had pretty much given up on the scene. Compare that now with the SA scene. It is night and day. The most important differences from my perspective are the differences in the legal and social situations, and the “reality” of the girls and the experiences they offer. The SB/SD scene does not have the same legal issues as the escort scene, which transforms the whole situation. It does not have the all-pervasive suspicion that escorts labor under. Then there is the completely different social aspect. While there are SBs from all backgrounds, there are many “ideal” SBs – real college/university students, many from elite institutions. These women are my educational and social equals, and I can talk to them easily for sustained periods. They know what I am talking about, and can respond in kind. Then there is the reality aspect – the photos are more accurate and realistic. Most importantly, the personal interactions – the sex – is infinitely more real. It is not a scripted scenario such as providers tend to go through by jaded rote, but a spontaneous thing. And the SBs are really “GFE”. My measly three SBs all appeared genuinely happy to be with me. Two of the three were as picky as I was, and we all freely chose each other. First, I think personally meeting SBs face-to-face for tea/coffee is worth more than any number of TER reviews. That way, **I** get to directly judge how well **I** get a long with the girl. I have seen hundreds of them and most of my encounters are from good to great. They range from K-girls to 1k-hour TER top 10 providers. Other than K-girls and some other foreign girls who don't speak English well, I have had interesting conversations with most of them. Many are students working their way through college and many have college degrees; a few even have graduate degrees. Emma Dupree went to the Law School; not sure if she got her law degree. I have never yet paid as much as 300 for an hour of sex (marriage not included) in SF Bay area. In four dozen encounters with just over two dozen women, not one has been awful and a strong majority have been good, excellent, or spectacular. No flakes, no stinky pussies, no B&S that mattered to me, no diseases, no refusal of services I expected and requested, only occasional mistrust, no intrusive LE checks. I do not seek fancy-dress socialite-pattern women, so none of their issues.
I have been cautious, I think, about reviews and recommendations, but not extremely.

My escort experience is about half k-girls and have pee four indies. The k-girls were the economical, reliable, short notice backstop. I -never- had a bad experience; they ranged from good to great, and the only lacking thing is that conversation was limited by time and language. But, oh, I miss living in a town with 4 great k-girl agencies! The only problem was more choices than I had wallet.
The p4 indies are about 50% great, 40% very good, 10% disappointing.
