For years playing in the P4p world was scary. No pics, reviews etc.....Then online came and it became much safer and fun.
Now SBs have gone online. No reviews and flakes galore. I find it interesting that we are willing to put up with a lot of BS for what amounts to more time vs what a pro would do.
So will we tire of the BS from SBs or will pros realize that longer dates for less may stop the SBs?
I know it's fun to bitch about the flaky behavior and the often unrealistic expectations etc. But the reality is that I have encountered extremely little bad behavior from SBs. Certainly no more than I received from pros. Much less in fact. Just a few no shows, that's really it. OTOH I've had the extreme good fortune to have met so very many sweet gorgeous young girls with a realistic understanding of what they were doing and a very sex positive attitude. I find it well worth while and have nearly given up dating pros entirely. Perhaps I'd feel differently if there were any pros I found attractive in my area, both in looks, performance, and price.
I agree. I hardly go straight pro but the lines are getting blurry.
I think it's blurry to begin with. The sole differences I see are:
1) SBs have a choice and tend to get a visual of you before they meet you, plus they get a sense of who you are during the meet and greet. I had a long time SB tell me she felt the difference was she could choose to see a SD rather than feel obligated to see a John. Plus she liked the regular/return visit aspect of being an SB.
2) Pros are more, you show up, a little chit chat, but the clock is ticking and you both know it so you get right to it. Your done, great now get out. SB you get a little more afterglow. Lol
3) you can have more connection with an SB than a pro. Even if she is a semi-pro. They tend to understand it's a friendship of sort. Or at least the ones I've had are.
My preference for SB over escort is the same reason. I have dated a few types. The genuine SBs are more drama than the semi-pro SBs. Pros and cons for each.
Same here. There's pros and cons but for me the pros as you've stated them so well here outweigh the cons. 24hr overnights for a few hundred dollars and a hotel room are well worth it. It's about as GFE as you can get without a GF. But if I only had two hours in the middle of the day I'd visit an escort.
the increased investment in time is more than offset by:
1) availability....this is the primary reason for me. I live in a veritable desert for pro's. BP girls are no longer an option for me after getting ripped off. Even if a decent pro tours near enough to visit, my work schedule makes it less than 50% that I will be available.
2) Price....yes, this is a consideration. While I would much rather see a good GFE experience on a regular basis. The factors above make this hard to do, and when the stars do align, I haven't seen a pussy worth $500/hour. Let's face it, in the past 6 months to a year, prices have risen (in my area and the SE in general I think) from $250-$350/hour to $400-$500. Even if I were to pop for that much (pun intended) a touring lady is just not the same experience as a regular who knows what you like and there's all the anxiety issues of seeing someone new.
3)OTC Time...this is usually nice, even if it doesn't lead to anything other than an nice lunch with a beautiful young lady. I remember a few years ago, there was an article about women dating on the prominent dating sites just for the meals with absolutely no intention of dating these guys seriously or having sex with them. I've had OTC time with a couple of my favorites and it was nice, but not often. I saw a pro in Ga advertising her dinner dates....4 hours, dinner, dancing, and play time for $500. Thought it might be a nice deal. Now I can get dinner, movie, etc., and overnight from a SB.
Your question about the pros changing up things due to SB's is a good one. I doubt it will affect much in the larger cities, it may in the less populated areas. I could even see some pros hanging it up for one or two good SD/SB arrangements. I think that hot little blonde from the ATL area found her a real one and got out of the business all together.
