I know several contributors on here are attached and need to be discreet. How do you go about the cleanup process after a session?  

In the aftermath, I am usually highly aware of all the following:
- The distinctive odor from condoms and lubricants  
- Transferred perfume the girl may have been wearing
- The distinctive personal “perfume” from pleasuring the girl’s privates, which gets all over my face and  
        hair.

Of course I wash up afterwards, but I find that it takes at least two, maybe three sessions to reduce the odor to minimal levels - the condom residue is particularly stubborn. Even then I can usually get the odd “whiff” at times.  In addition, washing up with different hotel soaps and shampoos can compound rather than solve the problem, so I have to be careful of that. I also completely change clothes, brush my teeth, use mouthwash, etc,  All this  is highly time consuming, time I don't have.  Short of steam cleaning, is there some more efficient way to remove the telltale signs…?

Get used to using a soap with a stong fragrance like Irish Spring, which can help mask those odors.   If the wife is used to that odor, that might alleviate the problem.

My perferred approach...

1) Have your own distinctive cologne, use it every day in the morning.
2) Wear an undershirt that will pick up that sent
3) When you get there promptly disrobe and keep your clothes from picking up any new scents
4) Prior to departing shower as described by others, suggest t you make sure to use the soap at the hotel with the least fragrance - typically the hotel provided bath bar
5) Dress and refrain from picking up new scents
6) When you get back to your car turn the heat and fan up all the way (this will help dry any residual water left from the shower)
7) drive at least 15-20 minutes in that heat

This will cause you to sweat, which will mix with your cologne from your underwear and will provide a mask from any remaining smells.

If you are anything like me the residual smells you are noticing are from the inside of your nose and are not actually there...

Mine better half has a great sense of smell and has never acknowledged any remaining smell.

That said the dry sauna effect does tend to kill a little of the post coitus buzz.

You might try posting in on the GD board as to reach a larger audience.

Or of course you can do a message search on the subject, it's been discussed MANY times before, although I will confess I have NEVER heard a man claim he can  smell a "whiff" from the condom before. Either you are VERY flexible or you have the olfactory senses of a bloodhound. lol

I'm sure it has been discussed before, but one lives in the hope of a "miracle cure" :)

As for the odor issue, I am surprised by your statement. Condoms come with lubrication, spermicides, and are made of latex. Together, this gives them a unique and very strong smell. It is almost overpowering before I clean up, and my statement about getting a whiff is AFTER cleaning up. I guess I am a dog after all :)

I've heard the suggestion that if you are headed home and realize there may be an odor issue, stop to get gas and "spill" some on your hands or clothes. The DW will surely smell that and will likely just be "Go take shower".

This is for rare emergencies, since if you repeat often it will look very odd.

If you are mechanically inclined (in your SO's mind), keep a minimum size can of WD-40 in the car, and find a need to tinker mechanically.

because whenever I read in a book a reference to a sex scene and the aroma of sex, I always think it's fake because I don't smell it.   I'd have to stick my nose into a condom to smell anything.  But I guess the smells you guys are referring to are real after all.  I've never done anything at all to mask the smells and always wait till I get home to shower.  Guess I'm lucky my wife is down with my hobbying and sugar dating.

Oh, it is very real. Just now I was shocked to get a whiff of "condom" off my hands, two cleanups and 9 hours after my latest SB conquest earlier today.

I keep Icy-hot in my hobby kit along with my own brand of shower gel and cologne. I have neck and lower back problems so it's not uncommon for me to use it. Overpowers just about anything.  
If residual latex condom smell is still a problem I also keep talc in my kit.  Applied to the genitalia it masks the scent.

Just another reason to bare back that babe.  Or use Skyn condoms from Lifestyles.  Just don't use lube as they will slip off.
