Don't get hung up on the "pay for initial meet" part. It's only a hundred-ish, plus a modest meal. If she's up for p4p, that can be carefully renegotiated to lunch+BCD, or lunch today+BCD tomorrow. If she's asking for $250+ or won't be negotiated less than $200-$250, she's hoping you are a pussy-ass-bitch. If she's asking for $300 or more (I've seen some who actually asked me for $750), she's a pro looking to go BCD asap. When I encounter one of these I usually just bail.

Remember, once you have both agreed on a 1st date amount you can open communications and find out her expectations. Also, though it costs you a few pre-paid "credits" on the site to open comms once you agree to a date amount, there are really no repercussions if you don't actually meet.
