I was talking to someone off a site, and we brought it to text. While doing investigating on her, it turns out her Snapchat user ID is "jacobrh" with some numbers followed in username. Anyway this could still be a girl?
She was gorgeous and was hoping it to be true. We have a planned !wet on Wednesday. Not sure why this person would lie, unless before date she decides to ask for something.You have 2 serious red flags here: one is the distance being 2 hours away; two is the Snapchat thing. Both could be fine and completely be on the up and up... but do you really want to take that chance on the initial meet?
If it were me, I would make her come to me to make sure she was serious and to cut down on my risk of having my time wasted or being catfished. You seem to be in a target-rich area so I would think there should be many viable prospects that are MUCH closer than 2 hours away. Do you really want to drive 2 hours there and 2 hours home to potentially get stood up or catfished?
This would be a case where it would be reasonable imo to offer a meet fee for her to come to you (like $50 gas money). This keeps your monetary and time risk at a minimum if she turns out to be scamming you or a flake.
Personally, I wouldn't do it unless she came to me. If she did, that would not only prove her that she was real, but also reliable... in which case, you would be more likely to have a successful arrangement with her. The Snapchat thing is not really a big deal imo... Jacob could be her last name for example... BUT when coupled when the distance you have to go to get to her, it makes it much more risky for you. Have her come to you the first time and then once you know she is for real, then next time you can go to her.
Well we are meeting halfway. I figure she will stop responding today if she isn't serious. If she keeps replying I feel it would be worth the risk to attempt to meet.
I would most definitely be prepared for a last minute "request" that might be a deal breaker though.
Sometimes a scammer will wait until you have the most time and energy invested to ask for "gas money" or something else small that you might not normally agree to, but will when you have "already gone this far" if you know what I mean.
but yeah, if I found the pics hot and no other red flags, I'd most definitely invest an hour drive to find out

Whenever I do so to meet a POT SB, I do two things. I make sure we talk via phone BEFORE I leave, and then I still make sure to have a couple of hooker back ups, usually an agency where I don't have to book an appointment that I might end up having to break, but instead I ask for general availability "in case I can get free tonight"
Yes, usually those "feelings" turn out to be right.
