Does anyone use background verification sites such as Been Verified to check on potential sugar babies before a first meeting? It's not always easy to get correct full names and these sites are necessarily not fool proof especially if you have a very common name, but in a couple of instances it has worked for me and I have uncovered enough red flags to pass.

and costs too much to screen all the POT SBs.

Said "rules" being the commonsense rules we should all have for ourselves which should include NEVER sending money in advance, booking hotel rooms that can't be cancelled, agreeing to paying "just to meet" etc etc etc.

As long as you use common sense, I find "screening" a waste of time. The worst thing that is going to happen to me on a "first date" is that she is going to waste 30 minutes of my time. Doing all this "research" on POT SB's is going to cost me more than that.

Your wisdom based on experience is well accepted and valued here, without question. I bring it up only because a couple of times I discovered that potential sugar babies had arrest records. One had a list, including b & e and another for assault. In either case, as if photos and words through early communication are infallible (and we know they are not), neither struck me as fitting that profile. Everyone is capable of making "mistakes" and "youthful indiscretions," but I am satisfied my due diligence may have saved some serious trouble.

Short of hiring a PI I don't think you can be confident in that claim. Many of the "background check" apps are just making shit up. Generally, you can't be sure of anything without a SSN, because names and ages are unreliable.

I could get a DUI and have my name also be Hobbyist1958, and these sites would say that you got a DUI, even if you're a tea toddler or were years younger/older than I am.

Reverse google image search their images. If they only have 1 image, ask for their instagram.

If she's real, there's an instagram of her. Period.

If you find an instagram with a ton of followers on your reverse google images searches, ask for her instagram. If she gives you a different one than what you found, she's fake.

If you find that she has an instagram, and on said instagram it lists her snapchat (very popular to do this), ask for her to add you on snapchat. If her snapchat username is different from the account she's adding you on, she's fake.

That said, the other gents in this thread are right. As long as you're not making non-cancel-able hotel reservations and/or sending them money before you meet you should be fine. Just have some stones and walk away if she's not cute.
